this is by far worst hotel I've been too ever..The room was disgusting were large spiders and cobwebs everywhere..the musty smell was so horrible it burnt your throat...we were goin to try and manage as some fellow residents had same deal and drenched their room in perfume to make it through..we left and called back for them say u can't get refund since wasn't before like 72 hrs..basically after eating out doubled my vacation pay and booked another hotel room for next couple days!! when went back lady was just spiteful hag said checked room and was nothing wrong and didn't see spiderweb and blah blah and acted like would have put in another room! talking with people arrived same as us wouldn't dream of it! total ruin of vacation vibe and for the price of room your better stay in any best western or anything else. trust me this place needs gutted and completely redone or just tore down..don't waste your money or unless u don't mind probably getting sick from sleeping there or sleeping with the bugs

The place is a bit dated, but it was clean and well run. The guy at the desk was super nice and gave us extra batteries when we told him ours ran out. It felt like going on trips as a kid. The location is great, safe and the architecture is really neat! Check out the dragon lamp posts!

We booked in February 2023 for June 2023. We got a message end of March that 'oops you were given the wrong price' and told us to keep our reservation the price would actually be something like $80 more than we were told. This is so unprofessional; I've worked in multiple hotels in multiple states and none of my employers would act this shady. Book at the other hotels on the same drag or go across the bridge to the Super 8 or any of the St Ignace hotels really. You'll encounter honest establishments there who won't force people to cancel and rebook at higher prices. (Set your damn prices higher in the first place, don't screw your guests over because you have seller's remorse.) We found lovely accommodation somewhere very nearby for the price we were initially told at this hotel, and we called to verify our new reservation and they assured us that they don't conduct themselves the way this Parkside Inn does. Glad to have other options!

Great location in the heart of the downtown area of Mackinaw City. The view of the bridge was spectacular, the rooms were great, the rooms were also clean with coffee maker, ice machine below, fitness area, pool, and within walking or driving distances to all the store and food places off Central Ave. We booked ahead of time and got great rates and great service.

I got a bridge view room, and boy it did NOT disappoint! The only problem for some people is the I75/bridge traffic noise. Doesnt bother me.

No breakfast. No balcony. No view of the bridge without your curtains open, so everyone walking by can see in. No microwave in the room. No daily service. Cramped bathroom. All this would have been fine if we had not paid over $200 for the room.
