First of all do not believe the website pictures. I thought I was purchasing a cabin because that is all that was shown on the website. When we arrived to the location after 8 hours of traveling, I come to find that we have a “chalet”, basically a shack full of spiders and carpeting throughout that is basically black (but shouldn’t be) because it is filthy. The washroom had blinds and a shower curtain had black mold on them, the coffee maker sits across from the toilet in the washroom. Seriously, stay anywhere but here-learn from someone else’s mistakes. And then on top of all that, there were adults drinking and getting drunk all around our cabin, it was like a trailer park, and their kids (or maybe it could have been some drunk parent), banged on our door and the window two nights of our 3 night stay, waking all of us and scaring the hell out of my 8 year old son. I mean, seriously, I paid $325+ a night to stay in a trailer park.

"The staff were friendly, the room was reasonably clean, the beds were not comfortable (new mattresses would help). The jacuzzi was just a huge bathtub with jets that didn't work. The available water play park was a nice addition. It was ok overall."

We checked in for a week. NOT what was advertised. We got a little box of a room. The bathroom floor had years of hair caked around the edges of the walls and toilet. The room smelled like mold mildew. Every day we had to go get bath towels because somehow, they skipped our room. Even after complaining to who we thought was a manager they still skipped us each day. The day before we checked out, we got back later than normal 9:00 to get our daily towels. (yes skipped again) and the guy had the audacity to first try to give us pool towels and tell us they only had one wash cloth and had to share it. I was so angry. He then said well you came in to late to get your towels. I ask if it was a daily clean service with fresh towels? He said yes. Then why should I have to interrupt my vacation at all to come in here every night to get towels and my room is not cleaned. Garbage is not empty, and you have the nerve to first tell me to share a washcloth and then tell me I came to late to get towels. This place is a dump, they don't care about their customers and their help is rude and disrespectful.

"This place is amazing and spacious. I brought my 3 grandchildren up there and there was plenty of room for everyone. It was clean with a beautiful view of the water. I loved it as well as the kids. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. This is our 2nd year there in a row and I will stay there again next year."

Great place to stay. Close to ferry ports. Loved the cabin! Friendly staff. Pool and Jacuzzi was available. Short walk to Mackinaw Bridge and bars and restaurants. Discounted ferry tickets at front desk.

We were pleasantly surprised by this great little place to stay. We stayed in the older section and felt very comfy cozy. The newer cabins look very nice, and definitely going to look into in the future.

I clean homes for a living. I was disappointed their was cobwebs, bathroom had mold on shower curtain and along the tub. The bathroom door did not shut. And it had a musty smell in the room.

Love this property and will stay here again. We staying the back hotel rooms and both rooms we had where wonderful. Clean and comfortable. Staff was a joy! One of our favorite places to stay!
