My Homes Macon North I-75 by OYO

There was a commercial open container across from our room full of trash and beds. The smell was terrible. The flies were bad. When you open the door the flies come in. The room looks nice on the first look. Their were hairs an all the furniture.. The carpet was dirty. The freezer was iced over and a partially full coke inside. The water in the tub was running and could not be turned off and the faucet was loose from the wall. There was a gap around the handle for the faucet. All the towels smelled bad not clean. The drain was nasty. There was riffraff in the parking lot. You have to stand outside to check in. Everything is CLOSED. No club, exercise room, no restaurant or free breakfast, No pool! Do yourself a favor and stay some where else. We left right after checking in.

I stayed in the room 113, to my left of the room was a dumpster full of garbage & by that flies are in your room as soon as you open the door. The bathtub needs to be remodeled & the rooms need to be cleaned better. I had bags in the drawers. There’s no pool or breakfast

Arrived at the hotel to find the doors locked (a Covid-19 precaution) and a note on the front desk, stating that the receptionist would be back in 15 minutes. After watching half of a rugby game(over 40 minutes) on my phone and multiple attempts to call the hotel, no one returned. A member of staff eventually walked passed, let me in and tried to get in touch with the duty manager, sharing my frustrations of being left outside for that period of time. When the duty manager could not be found, another colleague arrived to try and help me check in. I was checked in, given a room key and shown where to go. When opening the door,I found that the room was already occupied, with the original room user becoming aggressive over being disturbed late in the evening. I was eventually given a correct room. After a long drive and wanting sleep, when settling in and pulling the bedsheets back, I found yellow stains on the sheets and a disturbing amount of blood on the carpet. The room looked like it’s fire alarm had been ripped out which caused concern, as the room smelt so strongly of cigarette smoke ( a non smoking room) I felt like I could taste it for most of the following day. I did not stay long.

Absolutely nasty! I felt we were about to robbed at any moment. Parking lot looks like a First 48 crime scene. Our Room had flies, gnats and the loveseat had nasty stains on it. Was told the pool was under construction, looks like a swamp of just gross! Also the fool at the front desk had a washcloth on top of his head checking people in. Just close this place down! TERRIBLE
