Woohoo Suites Madrid Reviews

This place does not have a concierge and too many restrictions on checking in. We asked for a simple email with directions on how to get there via the subway system (which is very direct) . They sent an email with “see attachment “ but there was no attachment! We arrived at 12:15 Am and missed the office check in even after buzzing and buzzing what we thought was the intercom. The hotel is poorly identified and once someone let us in, there were no clear instructions as to where the office was. None of the other guests knew the telephone number of whom to phone. At 1:00 am we walked a few blocks around the corner and got a different hotel room which was far nicer. The next day we got bombarded with emails from Woohoo and I told them to cancel the reservation, charge us for the first night and refund the other 4 nights. This was never done. Woohoo felt like a “cat house” sort of place with people screaming and yelling off little internal balconies. Upon returning home to Canada I contacted ******* for a refund and woohoo hotels never responded to them either! This is the worst experience we had on a whole month of Europe and 4 major cities and 4 different countries! We have travelled all over the world and this was the worst experience in the past 22 years of travelling!
