I booked the “standard double”. It did have ac, but may have to ask front desk to activate it in your room (April 8th). The coffee machine in the 24/7 lounge is now 1.20€ per cup. (Starbucks is next door).There is also a hot water kettle there & plastic cups in a cabinet below to the right. Also a microwave! There is a cold drink vending machine, but no longer an ice machine or breakfast option as in the past. It’s still a great place to freely heat up some food at night & water for coffee or tea anytime! The nice young man checking us in from the Philippines had a cork screw for wine if needed. On a pedestrian street with grocery & food 24/7 in 2 min walk. Can’t beat the price/location!

Localização excelente, ao lado da Plaza Mayor, Mercado San Miguel, Palácio Real de Madrid e outras atrações, além da estação de Metrô Sol. Os quartos são muito confortáveis e a limpeza é extremamente cuidadosa. Ficamos muito satisfeitos.
Excellent location, next to Plaza Mayor, Mercado San Miguel, Royal Palace of Madrid and other attractions, as well as the Sol Metro station. The rooms are very comfortable and the cleaning is extremely careful. We were very satisfied.

Hotel is a really simple hotel that will give you what you need. Nothing special, but nothing less than the daily needs. Chances are you'll be out and about anyways. Convenient to the Sol Metro station and many restaurants around the area. I would stay here again.

Sólo pasé una noche en este hotelito de 2*, de paso hacia otro lugar. Se trata de un hotel pequeño que ocupa varias plantas de un viejo edificio prácticamente en la Puerta del Sol. La localización es inmejorable y el personal amable. Mi habitación era individual y un poco pequeña. No obstante, suficiente para pasar una noche. La cama es cómoda y la ropa está muy limpia, al igual que el baño y toallas. El baño está reformado y, aunque es pequeñísimo, es suficiente para una ducha. Tiene también secador de pelo. Hay wifi en todo el establecimiento. Yo reservé en la web del hotel a buen precio para ser la noche del sábado al domingo. Finalmente, por los alrededores hay muchos lugares para desayunar. Recomiendo Churerría Masa y Dora (en C/ del Correo, 4)
