Amor de Dios 17 Luxury Suites

Disliked · Lobby was dark and had a bad odor. No staff whatsoever during our one night stay. we reserved a room with the balcony and instead got room "2" zero level There was no heat and no way to fix the problems because of no staff. that existed nor to refund our money. The the configuration of the rooms were small box-like and very confining and uncomfortable, It did not have good air flow, and as at found it difficult to breathe in aggravated my asthma condition. T Room was properly described in the listing. In the HOTEL listing there is over 100 photos displayed but only one photo of this "0" level apartment’s narrow kitchen. There was no photo’s for instance of the bedroom. It was so small one person had to crawl over the bed to get to his side of the bed because of the limited space. I think the description of this room was misrepresented by the Hotel. We originally made a four-day reservation and left early the next morning after a pretty miserable cold night!

The area was not what I was expecting, and came to absolutely love it. Wherever you stay in the city you will be close to some things and farther away from others. My husband has mobility issues so this could have been a challenge, but Uber was there for us. James the property manager was extremely helpful and accommodating. When there was an issue with the fire alarm in trouble I texted him and he was right on it. I love the way the room is decorated. My husband commented how we had our own little art gallery.

This is a little bit of a different hotel when compared to chain hotels. Communication is either WhatsApp or email. I’m the WhatsApp message you get a code for the front door and the room door. Someone was there to meet us, make sure to explain the doors, hours etc. We got to our room, tried showering and got the room flooded. The staff was super quick and responsive and within 10 minutes we were in a new room. The rooms were clean, the shower was hot with nice pressure, sheets were clean on the king size bed! I would definitely recommend staying here. No frills, but definitely central and accessible

The hotel's location, while central, proved to be its downfall. Nestled in a bustling area, the relentless noise from the street was a constant disturbance, significantly impacting our ability to relax and get a good night's sleep. This issue was exacerbated by inadequate soundproofing in the rooms. Another major concern was the cleanliness of our suite. Despite being touted as a luxury establishment, the standards of hygiene were subpar. We encountered issues like dust on surfaces and less-than-spotless bathrooms, which are unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed caliber. Also, our experiences with the hotel staff, particularly James the manager, were disheartening. We found the manager to be unapproachable and dismissive of our concerns. Requests for basic amenities and assistance were met with indifference, leaving us feeling unwelcome and undervalued as guests. While we had high hopes for our stay at Amor de Dios 17 Luxury Suites, the reality fell short in every aspect. From the relentless noise and poor cleanliness to the unprofessional attitude of the management, our experience was deeply disappointing. We do not recommend this hotel to travelers seeking a peaceful and luxurious stay in Madrid.

Excellent place to stay. Well located. Very clean with a nice kitchen and ample space. Very well priced.

We were exceptionally pleased with our stay. To start things off, they let us check-in to our room almost 4 hours earlier than normal time! Then, the location was great; all the major attractions were within a 15 minute walk. However, there were two things that we want them to take care off. First, we saw that they had a kettle to make coffee. They supplied the coffee but they didn’t give any creamer or sugar to add to the coffee; because of this we had to go out and buy our own milk and sugar. Lastly, the blanket that they use in the bed is not able to be washed due to the material it is made of so it is very unsanitary because it is used by a lot of people, and would make anybody feel uncomfortable. All in all, it was an amazing stay, and we definitely recommend this hotel!

Super convenient location off Calle Atocha, within walking distance of the station. Very well soundproofed - it was a quiet place to stay. I booked a small studio but was upgraded to a 2-bed apartment! Very comfortable and easy to access accommodation and James, the building manager, could not have been more helpful.

I spent 3 nights at the Amor De Dios in early October and I must say, overall, I was disappointed. The room is pretty specious but not as described. The entrance doesn't look like a hotel at all and that makes me feel a little uncomfortable. Also, the manager is definitely arrogant. The location is not the best you can find but it is located more or less at the center. It is not the most luxurious neighborhood if you know what I mean... All in all, if you consider the relatively high price per night, I would not recommend it as there are way better value-for-money options in Madrid
