Terrible, if you have no other solution go there if not look for something better!

Perfect location and good price

I had a delightful stay at Room Mate Alicia Hotel in Madrid. Situated in Plaza de Santa Ana, the hotel's central location allowed easy access to major attractions while maintaining a peaceful ambiance. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was greeted warmly by Eva, who graciously provided me with a map and offered guidance on exploring the surrounding area. Despite its small size, the room was intelligently designed and had all the amenities I needed as a solo traveler. The efficient use of space, from the foldable table to the in-room amenities, made my stay comfortable and convenient. My only gripes were the lack of a door dividing the bathroom sink area from the bedroom and a shower that did not drain quickly due to the uneven floor inside the stall. Overall, I would highly recommend Room Mate Alicia Hotel to solo travelers or pairs seeking a cozy and well-equipped accommodation in the heart of Madrid!

The hotel is in a great, central location which is perfect for exploring the city by foot. Our room was a great size and had greener alternatives for soap and shampoo which I liked. It was the service, however, that really sets this property apart. I was traveling with my toddler and the second we set foot in the lobby Eva made us feel so welcome. She is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. All the staff was amazing but she goes above and beyond. We’ll definitely book here first our next trip to Madrid.

We had a really warm welcome on arrival and found our double room had every comfort including a kettle, coffee, sugar and a large free bottle of water. The beds were sublime, the bathroom had lots of freebies, the water really hot and the shower invigorating. Lots of lush towels. My sister was very touched the staff left a birthday cake for her. The tv was huge as were the many pillows and cushions. The swivel chair was fun next to the mini-bar. The safe was easy to use and large enough for a big camera and laptop. The curtains were dense and one window opened. The lift though small was sufficient for two people and a large case. The breakfast buffet was extensive, offering fresh cold melon, pineapple and grapefruit. The coffee machine produced delicious coffee and the bakery section was very varied with different types of fresh croissants, tarts, cakes, rolls and toast. As well as cooked or vegetarian options. Choice of milks and juices and smoothies. Every day we had a warm greeting and if we return to Madrid we would not hesitate to rebook the Room Mate Alicia. Brilliant location too.

Would definitely recommend staying here! The bed & pillows were like clouds. A great hotel & brsnd.
