Very clean and tidy public areas and rooms. The shower was a bit uncomfortable and dark. The employees take it very seriously. The surrounding street is a regulated parking area, although it is difficult to find a location at certain times.

We stayed here as part of a Globus tour and at first I was thinking "why are we so far away from downtown?" but this location was excellent. It is in the Barrio de Salamanca (upscale area) and there are wonderful restaurants in every direction, shopping galore (regular and designer), and a metro stop nearby for easy access anywhere else in the city. It was very safe to walk around at night too. The hotel had a parking garage, which made it easy to rent a car for the extra days we stayed outside of the tour so we could do day trips on our own. The room was not huge, but had everything we needed (fridge, safe, ample closet space). The bed was firm, but comfortable and we had no problem sleeping since the room and hallways were quiet. The bathroom was large and the shower was great. Breakfast was included with our stay and the breakfast was one of the best we had in Spain. There was something for everyone, from made to order eggs, pre-cooked eggs and other hot food, continental breakfast choices, fruit, pastries, breads, and 2 coffee stations plus a dedicated tea station- WOW! The hotel staff was amazing too! Everyone we encountered was pleasant and helpful, from the breakfast staff, housekeeping, and front desk- giving us great directions around town. We plan to visit Madrid again and will definitely stay here again!

muy bien situado. muy buen desayuno, buenas instalaciones, aunque las habitaciones, al menos la nuestra, necesitan un "refresco"y en general, el personal estupendo. unicamente, surgio una incidencia por un fallo de comunicacion entre el personal de recepcion y el del buffet del desayuno, muy mal resuelta por parte de una de la personas que estaban en ese momento en el mostrador de recepcion, que nos dejo con muy mal sabor de boca, y que, incluso, hubiese merecido una queja formal por nuestra parte. el español piensa bien, pero piensa tarde.
