I took the train the next day and stayed overnight. The location is very good, about a ten-minute walk from the train station. I had breakfast outside, about a three-minute walk. The hotel and facilities are old, the bed is a bit small, but clean. The front desk was nice and upgraded me to a suite.

The hotel is average.
Tired hotel near Atacho train station, 10 minutes walk. The hotel is in need of renovation, everything is quite dilapidated.
The rooms are small.
Check-in at the reception took a very long time, we waited in line for half an hour, the staff was very unhurried.
On the good side, there is a very good breakfast buffet.

I can only say that it’s okay in Madrid just based on the price and location. The hotel is relatively old, and there is a smell as soon as you enter the lobby. The bed was small and the sheets and quilt were still stuffed under the mattress. . . Considering the cost-effectiveness, it's okay.

The location is close to Atocha train station, about 9 minutes' walk. There are large supermarkets and many restaurants nearby. It is also close to Retiro Park. It takes about 15 minutes to walk and the location is excellent. The room is rather dark and old.
