Overall it is good. Because it is a customer's reservation, we have a parking space, which is very eye-catching in the city center. You can rent a car with an international driver's license, and it depends on the car rental company if you have a Chinese driver's license.

Wonderful hotel in all respects: great location, nicely appointed room with enormous shower (& separate tub/shower in room 309), terrific staff, well priced for major city hotel. We didn’t take the breakfast so can’t comment on that (but can recommend the Brown Bear Bakery around the corner for an an alternative). The afternoon snacks were a nice touch but we didn’t find them very compelling. A special shout out to Mariano at the front desk for his service to us, but all the staff were gracious and helpful. Highly recommend!

Wonderful hotel, great location, great staff and service. Comfortable room. We were able to get here easily from Atocha and are perfectly located to walk to all the sights in Madrid. Although it is in the center of the city it is in a quiet location. The rooms are also well soundproofed so it is easy to get a great night's sleep. I think this is a great value. I am also a Marriott Lifetime Platinum member but thought that the Marriott hotels in the city were all over-priced. I joined their frequent traveler program and will stay at a Catalonia Hotel again when I return to Spain.Oh, and the breakfasts are the best we had in Spain.

Excellent hotel -- great (and really large) room, well appointed, huge and comfortable bed, attentive staff, excellent location close to the Prado and Thyssen, a short stroll to the Plaza Major, really nice bar and attentive bartender, great breakfast spread. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was in an excellent central location. Easy walking distance to most sights. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choice. Staff all attentive and looking to help. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Personnel peu aimable, salle de bain odeur moisie, boiserie usée... J'ai subit un vol de boucle d'oreille de valeur oublié dans la salle de bain. Le personnel a renié totalement le vol. Une lettre est rédigée à l'attention du directeur général M. Navas pour manifester mon mécontentement. Je ne conseille pas aux clients d'oublier quoi que ce soit car le personnel de ménage nettoie absolument TOUT sur son passage ! La mauvaise foi du personnel et cet incident ne m'invitent pas à revenir dans cette chaine d'hôtels ! Terminé pour moi !
