Very very bad service, seems very unhappy when I checked in. Room was opened by someone when I was out. The worst hotel I’ve ever lived so many years.

Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Per lo stesso importo Booking ci proponeva letti in dormitorio misto! Noi abbiamo prenotato una camera tripla con bagno privato. Stanza pulita e silenziosa nonostante la zona centralissima. In questi giorni ha fatto freddo anche a Madrid ma la camera era calda anche senza accendere il climatizzatore. La reception è aperta 24 ore, il check in veloce. Posizione strategica, abbiamo girato a piedi tutto il centro di Madrid. Ci sono locali per mangiare ovunque e per colazione c'è la pasticceria Mallorquina in Plaza del Sol. Accanto alla reception dell'hostal c'è un distributore di bevande, molto utile anche questo. Staff gentile e disponibile, il sig. Alfredo ci ha fatto lasciare il trolley dopo il checkout. Sicuramente consigliato, ci tornerei.

The hostel is in a great central location. It took four presses on the buzzer to be allowed in but eventually we entered. The receptionist spoke good English and the check-in was fine. The room was clean and perfectly adequate but it was just 4m from the reception desk and with poor sound insulation we heard every thing that was discussed in the reception area and heard the phone ring every time. So that's why it gets a 3 star rating. Room was fine but VERY noisy. If you're given a room next to reception ask for another if you are hoping to sleep.
