The hotel is a few minutes walk from Sol station. Conveniently located along a busy street lined with cafes and shops. Room is small and enough to put one luggage. Coffee, tea, cups and kettle not provided.

The location was very good bc is in a street full of restaurants and cafes and also close the main road la gran via. The place was very clean and the guy at the front desk was very nice. The price is fair as well

There's a fan but still hot maybe because it's summer. Close to tourist attractions and many stores below.

Very good location, clean and quiet. I would stay here again for a weekend or to visit Madrid for a few days, it's fine.

The hostel is almost in the very center of Madrid, very clean and tidy, pleasant staff. Of the important nuances - the single room was very small, but with its own bathroom, the shower also seemed small, not everyone would be comfortable. For me, the biggest disadvantage was the lack of a window, or more precisely, a source of fresh air; it was stuffy at night.

The location of the hotel is very lively and the transportation is very convenient. You can reach many destinations within 5-15 minutes' walk. A double room costs about €100 per night. The room on the first night had no windows and was like a secret room with no air circulation. It was a bit cramped and frustrating. Maybe we checked in too late. Fortunately, the landlord changed to a room with windows the next day. The rooms have private bathrooms.

Located in the very centre, on Arenal Street, between Puerta del Sol and the Teatro Real. I stayed in a single room for one night, for a price of €37. The room was small, clean, with a very comfortable double bed, television, a bedside table, a table, a chair and a hanger. It had a remote-controlled ceiling fan with several settings. The bathroom was good, with a shower with good pressure, a small bar of soap and gel and shampoo dispensers. The receptionists, very friendly, kept my luggage until my train was due to leave. The main negative point was the horrible heat in the room; even with the ceiling fan at maximum power, I spent the whole night sweating. It should be noted that that day Madrid reached 38 degrees. I wouldn't mind staying in this hostel again, but I would absolutely avoid doing so in summer.

On May 8th we had a room reserved, paid for and confirmed at the Hostal Alicante. When we arrived in Madrid after a very hard trip, they told us that there had been an error on the platform and they had no availability. They didn't notify us, nor did they help us or give us any options etc. We were literally stranded. Madrid was overwhelmed with the Champions League and we couldn't find a place to stay unless we paid from €350 a night. We had to take the AVE train back home, incurring the expense of the tickets and losing the amount for the room and the tickets back home that we had already bought for the return on subsequent days.

I booked this hostel a few days before the trip and it was at a very affordable price. It is a three-minute walk from Sol and Ópera station, so it is very central and well connected. It is a no-frills hostel, with just enough to spend one or two nights. The single room was small, but clean and good. It included a bed, towels, soap, a TV (which I didn't use), a table anchored to the wall, a chair, a bar with hangers for clothes, and some kind of safe that I couldn't open. There is no air conditioning, but there is a ceiling fan. It doesn't work badly, but on my day (38 degrees) it was a little short. Yes there was air conditioning in the hallways and entrance. The bathroom is in the room (this was what made me decide between this hostel and another one). It is quite small, especially the shower, but better than many. Clean, with gel and shampoo in the shower with screen. The reception staff was friendly and helped me with whatever I needed. The downstairs door opens by calling reception (although it was closed at night, they opened it quickly). The doors upstairs and to the room work with a code that they give you when you arrive. They already warn you not to lose it. The only negative thing is that hot water came out of the sink all the time when it was very hot and I couldn't cool off. Maybe there would be a few more plugs missing, but with the two that were there I managed just fine. There is no breakfast service, as stated in the characteristics, but it is not a problem. There are plenty of places nearby to grab a bite, from chocolate in San Ginés to La Rollerie, where I ended up having a pretty good breakfast.

A comfortable room with a good bathroom, cable TV, excellent Wi-Fi to just go to sleep after touring Madrid and dining out Obviously it is not a 5-star hotel and it is not what I was looking for, Pablo's attention is excellent and he gave us free care of our luggage even after check out. I did not take the breakfast option, but in the area there are places with full breakfast offers from 2 to 4 euros. A highly recommended hostel

The only good thing is the central location but there are better hostels just as central. The small and interior room without ventilation with a bar that served as a closet and the small bathroom with a shower in which I had to shower from the side because it did not fit. The truth is, it's a good thing I only took one night and went to sleep because in a room like that you get depressed. Also expensive, I paid 71.21 euros with Travel Club points.

The location is very good and the attention is excellent. The single room with private bathroom. The single room I booked was nothing like the photos. It was very small and did not have much ventilation. For the price you pay, there are hostels with better conditions.
