We will repeat for sure. My wife, our 4-month-old baby and I went and we couldn't ask for more. The location is top in the center of Madrid and close to everything, but with the advantage that the hostel is in a quiet place. The room is very comfortable. It does not lack any type of detail and on top of that it is silent (to say the least, but it does not have an elevator and it is on the second floor). The owner, José, is charming. Makes you feel at home

Δεν άρεσε · Το ίντερνετ δεν λειτουργούσε. Παροτι ενημέρωσα απο την 1η μερα, αυτοι με αγνοουσαν. Το ιδιο και τη 2η μερα. Τηλέφωνο, μηνύματα μέσω πλατφορμας, τιποτα. Ενημερωσα τη booking, που επιβεβαίωσε οτι εγραφε ως παροχή το ΔΩΡΕΑΝ internet, αλλά θα έπρεπε να πάρει έγκριση του ξενοδοχείου για να παρω επιστροφή χρηματων σε περίπτωση που έφευγα !! Στις 2 μερες εφυγα για τον προφανή λογο της ελλειψης της παροχης και έκλεισα άλλο ξενοδοχείο. Το ξενοδοχείο παρα την προφανή υπαιτιότητα, δεν το δεχτηκε να με αποζημιωσει για τις μερες που ΔΕΝ ΕΜΕΙΝΑ. Αιτία; "Ειναι δωρεαν, δεν πειραζει που δεν δούλευε!!! Μου μιλουσε ισπανικα,, αντι να κανει το αυτονόητο και να ζητησει συγνώμη, το παιξε και ζορικος. Το έχει κάνει και σε αλλους πελάτες διαβάζοντας τα σχόλια εκ των υστέρων. Η booking λεει οτι η ευθυνη ειναι του ξενοδοχείου και οτι αυτοι γράφουν οτι λένε οι ξενοδόχοι. Να κάνω σχόλιο και να κινηθώ αυτόνομα εναντίον του. Φυσικά και ζήτησα μερική επιστροφής χρημάτων μέσω τράπεζας και περιμένω. Λες και ειχα όρεξη να τρέχω απο ένα ξενοδοχείο στο άλλο. Πηγαίνετε με δική σας ευθυνη. Αμα λέιπει κανα κλιματιστικό, κρεβάτι, ταβάνι, ταβλες, νερό κλπ μη ζητήσετε χρήματα πισω. Υποχρεωτικά μείνετε, αφού είναι δωρεάν...οπότε και να μην τα χει... μη μιλάτε...και πληρώστε!

Hostal Benamar is located within walking distance from all of Madrid’s best sights, restaurants and bars. Brilliant! Room and bathroom is basic and perfectly clean. Wifi works. Only thing is some noise in the morning (before 8 AM), but all in all Benamar gets a warm recommendation.
