We had a lovely short stay at Ikonik Gran Via hotel. They have super comfy beds & pillows, heating/air conditioning works really well, cleanliness was top notch and the rooms are recently renovated. Location is perfect, in general great value for money. Maybe something which can be improved is that the windows in the toilet are not well made, so it is very cold in there during winter (unless you keep the doors open)

Fabulous hotel and very well located. When you see the facade you don't expect to find that hotel. The room was very good with views of Gran Vía from two central and two side windows. Very attentive staff. The hotel clean. They have fruit, croissants, water and milk at reception for a snack. Very varied breakfast with views of Gran Vía as well. Very central. You don't need a car for anything except to go to the station. We will definitely repeat

'It really is a cozy and familiar Hotel where you feel very comfortable and the detail of having coffee, tea and even fruit and croisants at our disposal at the entrance is a real luxury that must be appreciated when nowhere else do they have those types of details. Also the staff is 10 with registration. For anything you need, they are at your disposal and will solve anything in the shortest possible time, in addition to being lovely people. I consider myself a demanding person and I don't give these compliments for free. In fact, I don't like to give my opinion in these forums because I'm more of a person who likes to say things face to face, whether they are done well or poorly, but this time I had to make an exception to recommend this hotel to everyone. By the way, having breakfast in the cafeteria watching Gran Vía is wonderful. The products that I have been able to taste are very good and varied. I can't say more. Just thank you for this great experience.

Unfortunately we didn’t make it to the hotel, so this is a review of the customer services. We were due to stay here at the end of November, but on the day we were due to travel, my son was rushed into hospital for an emergency operation. This meant we had to cancel our stay. Our airline were willing to allow us to rebook our flights at a later date but when I contacted the hotel with evidence of our hospital stay they stated that we would have to pay the full amount as we had given less than 48 hours notice. To add insult to injury, they have now put the payment through twice in error leaving me almost £800 out of pocket. They have said they will refund the duplicate charge but I am waiting for this and hoping I can claim the rest back on insurance.

Well located hotel, a few meters from Callao or Plaza de España. The entrance door is not very well marked, and you enter a small reception. The room was correct, although it was not worthy of 4 stars, like the entire hotel in general. The comfortable bed, and the correct bathroom, although with the new "tradition" of reducing the amenities to bottles of gel and shampoo attached to the wall, which they justify in most hotels with the fashionable excuse of sustainability, with which "justifies" everything, even giving less service than an equal or superior previous one.. Excellent option to stay**** in the heart of Madrid. The staff was very friendly (shout out to María who answered all our questions). My wife and I would definitely return. The location is incredible and the room is very nice and comfortable.
