Madurai Hotels with Breakfast

I am staying here right now, after leaving Chennai and the Leela Palace. Huge difference which is expected. In Madurai, there are basically no other options, if you want consistency, a newish hotel, a well-known brand (again, consistency), and on-site dining options. That’s why we chose this hotel. The hotel common areas are impressive and beautiful. The staff is extremely helpful. They arranged a great tour with guide, for the Temple, which is a must! Ask for VJ! Rooms: They are very tired and pretty beaten up, probably because there are no real options here. They are simple, nice and the shower has great pressure. You’ll need that with the heat. Restaurant/Common Areas: pretty good. Excellent service. They will get you whatever you need. also very clean and spacious. Impressive lobby, as Courtyard in the US is definitely not like this! Location: traffic is everywhere in India. But this location is pretty ideal for the Temple. It’s a decent 40 min ride from the airport. It’s very secure with pool, and fun kind of random on site bar (where I am now) and delish drinks too. All in all, this Hotel is the only choice if you want consistent cleanliness with some luxury in Madurai. It’s also very reasonable.

The front desk service was very good, but the business was very bad. To the hotel, don't let early check in understand, the front desk asks for the price, go to the restaurant to buy breakfast, the price of the restaurant is not the same as the price given by the front desk. When I checked out, I wanted to use the hotel's car to go to the airport. I asked the front desk for a price. I thought it was a little more expensive than Ola. It was okay. I said that I had a good meal and ordered it. After I came back, I changed the front desk. The price has changed. It is more expensive than Ola. Doubled. Early Check In, the hotel began to strictly demand that you can not check in early, must be 2 pm, after communication, helplessly understand, then go out for lunch, come back to 12 noon, found that the hotel even gave another pair of white couple check in, but also provide A towel and welcome drink. I didn't have this at all when I checked in. The above shows that hotel management is very confusing. The security guards greeted each other with enthusiasm. Breakfast is not expensive, but meals are average. The room hardware is very good, the air conditioning is also very powerful, but the refrigerator is very old, very noisy in the general heritage of the manor. The hygienic situation only looks beautiful, and if the wooden floor is stepped on, it will soon be dark. There are also a few large flies flying in the room, hey, a little disgusting. Overall, the price is not bad, that is, the front desk is very annoying, and the health situation is not equipped with hardware.

Location: Excellent. Away from hustle and bustle of the city and property is surrounded by lush greenery. Service: Excellent. All the staffs were friendly and always willing to help and make our stay u**ost comfortable. Food: Breakfast had lots of options and tasty. Amenities: Did not use much so not sure. Rooms: Big enough, had very ancient look.

The service at the Hotel was good “I liked the hotel and the food. ... “I am so appreciative that there exists a place that still values customer service throughout the hotel. ... all staff members in the hotel behaved well. I really talked about this hotel, not because MARRIOTT is full, this is the closest hotel, I really can't live anymore, the hotel is old, the health is not good, the towel, stinky to die. I obviously have a twin room and don't give it to me. I have to give it to Ctrip. I have a time difference. I can't do it at 2-3 in the morning. I originally booked Club room. I don't know if I lived in the end. What kind of room type, in short, it’s not a club room.

Belongs to a good hotel in the local area. The service staff is friendly and flexible, and early check-in is also allowed to check in. Originally, one of the more expensive ones in the local area was booked, waiting in the lobby for two hours, and rooms are not allowed to check in before 12:00. Cancel directly to this one. The location is very good, walking distance to the largest temple, there is a state-owned craft shop 300 meters near the hotel, the goods are rich and the price is conscience. Throughout South India, Madurai's temple is almost the best and most exquisite in South India. The local little palace is also worth a visit.
