Hotel Royal Elite Madurai

We took a one night halt on the way in this hotel for our trip to Munnar. Very unwelcoming experience the moment we entered the hotel. Would never recommend to stay at this hotel if you are coming in your own car or coming with your family. Come out of the hotel and you will be welcomed by smelling garbage drums. Very tough to find the entrance. Entrance at Congested roads, found very tough to find the entrance. Dark road leading to Basement. The security started banging our car when we were struggling to find the parking area. We brought heavy luggage’s and there is no lift to carry the luggage’s from the entrance. In the end the hotel staff who helped bring down the luggage broke our suitcase handle. We gave him 100 rupees for helping us, but he de***ded I give more money. Local lodge feeling when you walk the pathway leading to the hotel. Only good thing was the spacious room. Bathrooms though looked clean expect the bathroom to be wet always because of poor draining system. Had a poor sleep because of low quality beds. In the end a pathetic start to our road trip to Munnar.

Extremely discourteous staff. The rooms poorly kept, the bed linen seemed unwashed. Room did not smell fresh. Bathroom was not clean. Toilet was leaking. Felt unsafe. Very noisy in the night and could not sleep.

I loved my stay. The food was amazing. The staff amazing, food quality woooow. Yes the location is a little inside but overcasted by the service and the hospitality of the staff at the property. I recommend

I've found somebody inners in the bathroom, soon after I've checked in, also there is no clean door mat ( is soiled) also the floor and bathroom are not in a clean condition. I've never expected this from such a hotel

Nice staying at Royal Elite, Good Staffs, pleasing services provided. My purpose of stay at this hotel was fulfilled, Breakfast timings should be maintained from 7.30 am onwards. Responses from the hotel staffs was satisfied.

***ager and staff are very polite and cooperative. Rooms are very neat and clean. All arrangements are perfect. They arranged cab in morning in committed time very recommendable hotel at very reasonable rate
