Beautifully decorated hotel. Rooms are spacious and tastefully done. Staff at reception was courteous and helpful. Special thanks to Varsha K. We enjoyed their restaurant; special thanks to Kamachi for meeting all our dietary needs. Overall the staff were very helpful.

**0/5 Stars** We recently had the misfortune of staying at this nightmarish hotel. Our first interaction was the lunch in the hotel just after check in. As it was near closing time of 3 pm and we entered at 2:55 pm, we were treated with hostility and unfriendliness by the staff. We were made to feel like an irritating major inconvenience for them. The food was another disaster, with half cooked rice and tasteless hard vegetables But the problems didn't stop there. The bed linen was dirty and the bathroom was a disaster, with mud patches on the floor and broken latches on the doors. The lack of security features, such as a peep hole, was also a major concern. And to make matters worse, there were no labels on the bathroom liquids and the dispensers were broken. The electrical points were old format and very few. And to add insult to injury, for a standard amenity of bottled water that most hotels offer for free, the hotel insisted we drink RO water in glass bottles or we will be charged for water bottles. Our health concerns on drinking water from unknown source filled manually were dismissed. We requested Soap cakes and tissue paper but these were also not provided. But what really took the cake was the lack of any solutions offered by the hotel to address these problems. Staff was simply apathetic and disinterested. When we tried to speak to the front desk manager about the issues, we were rudely dismissed. When asked to speak to his manager, we were told he is available only next day evening and we can not speak to anyone. Also, giving a bottle of water (cost Rs 20/-) was above his powers. Unbelievable !!! In conclusion, our experience at this hotel was absolutely appalling. The staff were unfriendly, the rooms and facilities were dirty and subpar, and the service was laughable. Unless you enjoy being treated poorly and paying top dollar for it, we would strongly advise you to avoid this hotel at all costs. It is a hostile, cheap, and poor quality scam, not a hotel.

The hotel is very good and well maintained. Varsha K, at the reception handled out checkin and checkout very well. We had a pleasant stay. Rest of the staff is also very good. Breakfast was good quality and had a lot of options. Just 1 concern - for extra bedding they didn't provide an extra comforter, but on request they gave.

Traveling alone can be exhausting. I like to nap in late afternoon but they put me in room 110 where it sounded like a construction zone. I spoke to a manager that suggested it was the rain but it was not raining. Surely they have had people complain about this , being that it is over the kitchen/dinning room.

The stay was very welcoming and was very great , Varsha was able to accommodate every request of mine ***** with her team , without them the stay would have been really frustrating! Thanks to the entire JC team ! The snacks which they make are the best ! Jeera cookies are a must try

Exacellent advise to visit places nearby and fast reaction with no language barrier by varsha k. and nice room service by ramchandra... had no difficulty with anything ... appreciate the room designs and entertainment on the television.

The best star hotel in Madurai. All the staffs, housekeeping staffs done a great job. Especially Ms. Varsha (receptionist) was very helpful and give a great support and guidance for us. Thank you so much for the entire team of JC residency for giving us the best stay in Madurai.
