Hotel Grand Sabarees is conveniently loacted with close proximity to the Railway station, good vegetarian restaurants and Meenakshi temple. The rooms are very well maintained and clean. The pricing is very reasonable. The staff are very courteous and try their best to help the guests feel comfortable. They even accommodated our request for an early check-in by an hour. The rooms are small and compact, nealy maintained and the bathrooms are also maintained very clean. Hot water is available 24 hours. Food from outside is allowed to be taken to the rooms - no in house restaurant is available - however, some good restaurants are available in close proximity. The railway station is walkable and so is the bus stand. We would prefer this stay when we travel to Madurai.

Early Check In, the hotel began to strictly demand that you can not check in early, must be 2 pm, after communication, helplessly understand, then go out for lunch, come back to 12 noon, found that the hotel even gave another pair of white couple check in, but also provide A towel and welcome drink. Avea is a modern style guesthouse. All facilities such as a hot shower, AC and WiFi worked well. The bed was comfortable. Towel and soap, toiletpaper all routinely provided. The accommodation is kept very clean. Drinking water and boiling water to make your own coffee or tea is included. Staff want to give good service to the guest. It is not a place where you just get a room for a certain time and that is it. The location is not directly in the city center, but in Anna Nagar which means you have to deal with rickshaw drivers. Staff will assist you. I walked up and down to town and the bus stations. Arappalayam bus stand (Munnar, Coimbatore destinations) is 6 km away. Mattuthavani bus station (Chennai destination) is at a distance of 3 km. Keep in mind Madurai city center is very congested (narrow streets with a lot of noise and exhaust fumes). Anna Nagar is where the city middle class lives. It is more quiet and restaurants are of better standards. Stayed four days.

JC Residency redefines hospitality to make the guests feel at home. Being a three star facilty they make the guests feel more then welcome. The team handling the guests is ever present like eversmiling Suthakar who helped us out with authentic vegetarian food, which we enjoyed thoroughly. The room and the lobby feels like a quant place, where one can visit time and again

I really talked about this hotel, not because MARRIOTT is full, this is the closest hotel, I really can't live anymore, the hotel is old, the health is not good, the towel, stinky to die. I obviously have a twin room and don't give it to me. I have to give it to Ctrip. I have a time difference. I can't do it at 2-3 in the morning. I originally booked Club room. I don't know if I lived in the end. What kind of room type, in short, it’s not a club room.
