Mahabaleshwar Hotels with Bars

The property was too good.. Staff were polite .. The only thing what went wrong is miscommunication between the staff members .. Even after repeated request to allot us the room on the higher floor & to decorate the room as it was our first wedding anniversary they did not have the request in their system .. It’s a 5 star hotel & this is not what we are paying for .. The person at the reception who did my check in asked me the names of the person whom I have spoken to about my request.. I remembered the names so it was easy for me .. but what if I had forgotten the names .. ? they would have told me that it’s my fault .. But I had recording in my cell phone about the conversation I had with the staff & I also shared the names (Ronak - the person whom I spoke to about my request) & (Savita - who had assured me the request will be taken care of ) In the end they made me compromise with my room .. They allotted me the room on the first floor (higher floor) but they did not give me the room with the kind bed for what I had paid for .. They gave me the room with the twin bed .. I had no option but to compromise as I did not want to waste my time in check in & enjoy the day at the property.. I will rate the property 5 star but the service & ***agement of the staff as 3 star ..

1. It is in the centre of the mahabaleshwar market. 2. All the shops and location are easily accessible. 3. Near st bus stand. 4. Room is quite spacious but not as much as it should be for family room. For 2 people it's okayiesh 5. Maharashtrian food quality is good. 6. Cleaning service is average. Cons : 1. Need to maintain cleanliness and bedsheet was not that much clean. 2. Bathroom is congested. And had leakage from top ceiling. The entire ceiling was filled with water droplets. 3. Hot water timing is only between 7 to 10 which is not convenient for all. 4. Some food items were not good at taste. We ordered tawa pulav. And it was made with so much of gheee which left its essence in pulav and it was tasteless later we had to order plan dal rice. 5. We ordered hot chocolate in glass and they served hot nesscafe in water and milk. Which was ridiculous. Later on complaint they gave milk and water mixture with just her-shy syrup and bournvita. 6. Food prices are very expensive. 7. Wifi was not working proper we have to log-in with userid and password and somehow if we disconnect, then later again it doesn't get quickly sign in, it says already logged in user. So wifi facility is not so good. 8. No ventilation in the room. Only one window is there that opens next to the other hotel rooms. Which is very dirty we can't even open our curtains because it is very very close to the next building wall window. 9. They don't come to clean whenever we call. They only clean in the morning after other checkout rooms are cleaned.
