Nice little dated country pub. Visited this pub with family for a birthday meal. There was 7 of us plus two children however the pub was very accommodating and had our own little area where our table was which was very convenient. We had our meal around half 6 in the evening and the pub has two separate menus, one of which finishes at 5pm. Personally i felt the menu was quite limited as to what you could get however my partner asked if it was possible to get the sausages and mash potato (which was a before 5pm meal) and the staff were happy to facilitate this. I did wonder why they have the menu stop at 5pm if they clearly have the stock to do the meals in case? The food was lovely and very good portions. Highly recommend the prawn cocktail, the amount of prawns you get is perfect! Worth a visit and i would visit here again

First and foremost, the staff here are excellent. We had a guest with mobility issues and when I mentioned it they moved him to a room with a fully accessible entrance and shower. Check-in was warm and friendly and every member of staff we met projected a professionalism and care which is so rare in hospitality these days. The rooms were nicely decorated, comfortable and good value. It's off the beaten track but the restaurant is excellent so there's no need to go anywhere else!

Rigtig fint ophold lidt udenfor Maidstone. Meget genuin stemning og man følte virkelig, at man fik en oplevelse af en klassisk engelsk Inn. Fine værelser og meget hjælpsomt personale.
Vi glemte en bamse i værelset efter vi forlod stedet, men de var så søde at sende den til os. Meget fin service!

Held my Mothers wake at the pub. Was excellent from start to finish. Gaynor organised it , was very helpful & accommodating. Food was fantastic.Lemon drizzle cake was the best ever. Good selection of hot & cold food.Added chips to the fixed menu. Highly recommended.

We've stayed here several times before and this visit didn't disappoint. Lovely staff, comfortable and clean room. Lovely and quiet location. We were meeting friends for a special birthday celebration at the pub so it was lovely knowing we didn't have far to go at the end of the evening.
