We had to go elsewhere to eat because of that. Check-in and check out very fast and good. Shame about the rest. Staff are friendly and welcoming."

"We didn’t arrive until 10pm but were welcomed with smiles. Location was great, close to everything we needed. We did have an issue with parking as their car park only holds about 20 cars.. but they said we could park in Asda that was next door, bit of a pain knowing this after looking for ages. We had a top floor family room, there was no aircon, only a small fan and it was 34 degrees outside. The beds were clean and comfortable, clean towels, lots of tea and coffee. The bathroom was clean however it definitely needs some TLC. There were 3 huge spiders in our room, that could have been because the window was open when we arrived. I think they do need to invest in something to help with the outside noise as being in a town centre and on a main road was uncomfortably louder than it needed to be. But, it was a nice hotel, nice staff, nice beds. We would consider staying there again in the future."

Lovely woman."

"Ahh wonderful location with beautiful grounds… We had afternoon tea there which was really lovely…. The staff are friendly & efficient… the sandwiches were very tasty in fact we could have done with around round!!! Only us being greedy, the sausage roll was yummy and the cakes very pretty…. I recommend this venue for a memorable afternoon."
