Intercity hotel is very close to Mainz Hbf, only 3 minutes away. Come out of the door of platforms 8, 11, and 13 in the station, go right along the road where the taxi comes in, pass by a tram track, and the hotel is opposite. The breakfast was very rich, the photos hanging on the walls in the hotel were artistic, the service staff were warm and thoughtful, and there was a free city travel card. It was very comfortable to stay here and I would come back again.

Unfortunately I just didn't get on with the hotel and it spoilt my visit. The hotel itself was okay, and I mean just okay, but what spoilt it for me was that the room air conditioning didn't work so the room got very hot and there was only a thick duvet, which meant I had 3 very poor sleepless nights, which for a business trip, wasn't very good. I did try to move, but the hotel was fully booked, and I was assured the A/C was working (it really wasn't). I usually stay at the Hilton hotel which is close by, but a colleague had already booked this hotel so I thought I'd try it and it would make it a easier to meet and talk with my colleague. I visit Mainz frequently, but next time I'll make sure I book in with the Hilton.

Für Bahnreisende optimale Lage sowohl an den Fern- wie an den Nahverkehr, Busse uns Strassenbahnen halten in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hotels. Die MitarbeiterInnen an der Rezeption wie im Service sind freundlich, aufmerksam und zugewandt. Zimmer und Frühstück sind hervorragend, wir haben 5 angenehme Tage im Hotel verbracht.

Tolles Hotel in bester Lage. Sehr freundlicher und kompetenter Empfang. Die Zimmer sind ausgesprochen sauber und gepflegt. Sehr familienfreundlich mit Verbindungstüre, was eine gewisse Privatsphäre verspricht ohne ein Auge auf die Kinder zu verlieren. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr umfangreich und die Auswahl der Speisen und Getränke ist in sehr hoher Qualität. Jederzeit wieder und kann das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen- ausgezeichnetes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis! Danke IntercityHotel Mainz!!!
