quite good

It is a very new hotel. The wet and dry bathrooms are separated and you can use the bathroom separately. The style is industrial style. The breakfast is also good and rich. It is very peaceful with a view of the Rhine River. Find a location nearby. 20 euros a night is too expensive.

Very modern hotel, very nice rooms with air conditioning and electric shutters. The breakfast was great, as was the dinner. All in all, top recommendation.

First impressions were good - the lobby area was modern and had a lovely smell, and the member of staff at check in (Amir) was really friendly and talkative. We were offered the option of foregoing the daily housekeeping for a €5 voucher per day which can be spent on food/drinks so we went for this option. Breakfast is included which was a nice surprise and is served buffet style. There was plenty of choice including a few hot items, toast, pastries etc. The room was a good size and was very modern with lights and shutters etc controlled by a touchpad. The room and amenities are quite simple but it’s a minimalistic style. There is a huge full length mirror and also full length windows so the room is nice and light. Our bathroom did have a door that could close off either the toilet or the shower so we had no issues with this. Would’ve liked a few more nicer toiletries, although there is a hairdryer. The hotel is in a good location right by the river and it’s easy enough to walk to the main centre/train station or walk a few minutes to the bus stop. Only slight negatives: Breakfast was very busy on the Saturday and it took a while for items to be replenished. We were unfortunate to have a fire alarm in the middle of the night - the fire brigade were there within minutes but the organisation and communication from hotel staff was poor. It wasn’t until we asked upon check out that we found out it was just a technical issue that had occurred.

Pros - very friendly staff, good breakfast and nice lobby. Cons - small rooms, shower is in the bedroom with a glass door so privacy could be an issue, the ac didn't work even after reporting it, and the amenities are minimal. There is no refrigerator or microwave in the room, no closets, no furniture other than the beds, no coffee maker and no Kleenex. There are no ice makers in the entire hotel and none in the on site restaurant.

I travel a lot, but this has never happened before. I arrived at 12:00 and dropped off my suitcase. The answer to the question of how late I could check in was promptly "Until midnight!". When I got back from my business appointment at 10:00 p.m., I was told that the room was taken. The special conditions were not communicated to me at lunchtime. Arrival by 6:00 p.m. I had kept to the 12:00 p.m. The attitude was: I should be happy that they are giving me anything at all... The shared room is a disgrace. The slatted frame is a wooden board. There is no towel in the toilet or even a towel rack. You're probably not supposed to wash your hands there. It was also thinly soundproofed. At breakfast, of course, I clear my place setting myself. At 108 euros, you can expect that. The clever hotel cost reimbursement was nowhere to be found. Never again!

The hotel is new, opening in November 2023. However, not much effort was put into the construction, or a lot of savings were made. The room is thinly soundproof, a neighbor was still taking a shower at 12:30 a.m., I thought it was mine. The mop floors have little or no impact sound insulation, you can hear every step from the next room. The room design was the work of an architect who will certainly never have to live in it himself: the shower and sink are right next to the bed! This means that the shower fumes and hair when blow-drying are distributed nicely in the room, not to mention any "privacy". Fortunately, the toilet is in a small room, but so tiny that you can hardly get past the door. There is no seat with a backrest where you can sit comfortably after a hard day, just a shapeless leather seat cushion. When I complained about this, I was told that this was intentional. The concept wants something that the guest does not want, interesting. You also look in vain for a closet or a shelf for clothes, there is only an open clothes rail with coat hangers and a suitcase rack, so you live out of your suitcase. The soap dispenser by the sink was completely dusty, the one in the shower was broken. Otherwise the room was bright, 2 huge windows down to the floor. The double bed was comfortable. The lighting can be easily controlled with a touchpad from the bed. WiFi works excellently. Breakfast was included in my price of around €75 (1 person). So of course you can't expect an organic gourmet breakfast. The quality is accordingly: cheap sausage, cheese, ready-made yoghurt in large bowls, sweet cheap orange juice, ready-made meatballs, etc. The selection itself is, however, reasonably plentiful, such as scrambled eggs, sausages, muesli, various rolls, 2 coffee machines, etc. However, the tables are not wiped down regularly, you have to clear your dishes away yourself. So you have to look for a clean table. The room is huge and uncomfortable, but fully glazed all around, which at least gave you a nice view. In the evenings, there is also food in this large lounge area such as pizza, burgers, pasta, wraps and salads, as I saw on the menu. The staff were really friendly and helpful throughout. The car park is overpriced at €20 and was already full. After about 5 minutes of searching, I found a parking space just a few hundred meters away in a side street that costs €1/hour with a parking meter, but you only have to pay until 7 p.m. and from 9 a.m. Or 100 meters further on, if you're lucky, it's even free (I was lucky). Overall, a cheap hotel with a number of weaknesses that could have been avoided without much extra cost. At least other budget hotels can do it better.

Positive points: new, modern hotel, comfortable bed, temperature control (for cold) even in winter and friendly service at reception. Despite not being in the center, it is very easy to get there. The path along the riverbank is very pleasant. Negative points: small room, the bathroom is integrated into the room, offering little privacy and there is no minibar. Breakfast is included in the rate and serves well.

Nice, new hotel. The room size and the view of the water were much better than I expected for this hotel category. The room layout was a bit strange (shower and sink in the room, only a small toilet is separated separately). When I arrived, the hotel garage was already full (it is probably quite small and advance reservation is not possible), but the Zollhafen Weinlager underground car park is within walking distance and costs a maximum of 1 hour per hour.

The hotel is brand new. Unfortunately, the underground car park only has 30 spaces. Costs 20 euros. Very nice rooms. Mine had a view of the water. Great. Breakfast was very full and there was a lot of waiting. But the staff was very friendly. Bus stop not far away and easy to reach
