The hotel is quite new, room is very spacious and bed and pillows are super soft and comfortable. We spent 2 nights in Christchurch and it is about 15 mins walk to Bontanic garden and 20 mins walk to city area where many eateries and shopping are . The front desk staff and manager are very friendly and helpful and when we came in on early morning on Friday , they allowed us early check in and this really helped us as we were so exhausted after a red eye flight. The cafe at the hotel served great food and drinks as well and usually they are very crowded but we managed to have our breakfast there on the day we check out , yummy breakfast indeed!

Staff were friendly and helpful, got a free drink from the cafe with the booking, only downside is no free parking, but we just stayed one night so just paid on the street and left before getting a ticket.

The room was big enough, but there was a lot of food on the bar, which was for the guests to pay. When I woke up in the morning, I found a horrible scene, the cup was full of ants. The small restaurant downstairs is called "Majestic" The Benedict eggs are very interesting, with mashed potatoes. It's very clean, but there is no glass door in the bathroom hahaha, the facilities are very new and very clean. There is a Vietnamese restaurant nearby, I recommend everyone to eat there

Overall, I was very satisfied. There are Thai and Japanese food within a 10-minute walk. It is very convenient. Of course, there is also a casino, which is very close. It is also very close to drive to the largest supermarket in Christchurch, called pakn save. Many things are cheaper than Taobao in China, so you can buy less and bring them back home.
