I enjoyed the experience, but to be honest, this place is not for me or solo travelers.
I found it very expensive for what it was!
Very comfy bed, amazing breakfast, but i personally not a big breakfast person.

A very special Nyonya hotel. There are many antique furniture on display. The environment is clean, the security is strict, and it feels very safe!
The hotel owner was warmly received, the staff were courteous, and the breakfast here was worth trying. It was all Nyonya special food. We are very happy to have chosen this hotel to stay!

I had a week between business meetings in Kuala Lumpur. 5 Heeren was a wonderful way to escape the city and relax. I stayed in a suite with balcony overlooking Melaka River. Interesting furnishings and very clean. Excellent Malaysian breakfast fed me all day. Helpful staff. Good internet and I even got some work done. Great experience.

Het beste ontbijt ooit. Een wandeling door Azië. Zeer correct en vriendelijk personeel. Ze hadden een plaatsje voor onze huurauto. Het huis heeft weinig kamers maar alleen hele mooie. De rest van het huis is een museum volgepakt met schitterende meubels en accessoires. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaresse die ons ook hielp met randzaken zoals een fantastisch restaurant in de buurt

Outstanding. Highly recommend. We had the room with a view over the river with a huge terrace. Best view you could get in the old city. The hotel is unique run by its owner who greets you and offers a huge amount of useful information. The reception is full of old antiques and even the building itself is fascinating ( took 7 years to renovate). The staff were so helpful finding us and booking some fab restaurants for the evening ( only breakfast here). I can’t recommend this wonderful place enough.
