Meets expectations. It has air conditioning, which is very important for the Maldivian climates. Price accordingly. The bathroom was not in the room but separate, although it is for private use of the room, meaning it is not shared with anyone. The room is small but perfect for a night before the trip. Excellent location. Good airport transfer service.

No frills stay, centrally located, everything was walking distance, well maintained hotel, I must thank Roshan Dilshad and his wonderful, polite and courteous staff for making me feel like I was at home, very attentive service, Roshan even helped me to book few day trips, my flight was at 9pm, I was supposed to check out at 12pm, they kindly let me stay until 5:30pm, next time if I visit Maldives, definitely I will choose this hotel.

This is my 2nd stay at Tourist Inn... Oh, as a matter of fact, my 3rd stay because I decided to extend another day because of return flight was very late night and it was pass the check out time. Nevertheless, I truly enjoyed the hospitality of the staff - both Nawaz (the owner) and the workers. Once again, a true gesture of hospitality and going above and beyond when Nawaz picked me up from the jetty from my trip to Maafushi and took me to the jetty again to catch the airport ferry during my departure. He graciously offered me his bus pass for by day of exploration of the nearby Hulhumale - which made be practically experience various modes of transport in Male City - motorbikes (riding in tandem with him), cab, public bus (which was a very decent and on time), and the airport ferry. It was truly a cultural experience in Male, which I fancy, Additionally, just like my first stay at Tourist Inn, the room (4th level) was immaculately clean. Other details worth mentioning are: -warm shower -generous unlimited free wi-fi and was considerably fast (by my standard) -shared kitchen spotlessly clean with basic cutlery -coffee and tea in the room with an option to use Keurig -welcome fruits during my second stay which I love since I am vegetarian -good channel selections particularly local channels which I love for cultural experience -with a lift considering the facility is small but cute. I purposely avoided the lift for exercise. -great place to experience the local culture since the hotel is in the local area and very accessible to all shops, groceries, restaurants, bus stations, jetties. I love walking and the location has made me work out and enjoy the Maldivian culture as I walk around Male. -prompt in responding to questions and needs .... WhatsApp is truly a great tool!!! So many things to say about Tourist Inn... don't hesitate just book it in your stay in Male for great cultural experience. The hotel is well secured. Maldives is safe nation.

We stayed here for one night before flying out. It was a very good stay. No frills, just what was needed for a transit stay. The room was clean, amenities were good, the included breakfast was great and the fact that they included one-way airport transport was a bonus. They were also flexible with check-in (possibly a factor being we travelled during non peak months). The one downside, if it matters, is that the property is not beach-facing. Though it's a 2 minute walk away. The locality itself is fabulous. The beach is great, a public park (with skate ramp!) is nearby, and there are several options for restaurants. It's a good budget pick for a hotel for a one-night (or more) stay. I'd certainly stay in Hulhumale again rather than the more crowded Male!

Overall, our stay was unpleasant. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out. When we entered the hotel they essentially made us feel that we were unwelcomed. No smile, no hello, nothing! I have never experienced this level of hospitality in my lifetime. Room size We had booked a ”Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and Sea View” (booked almost 1.5 months before) and it was supposed to be one of the best rooms in this hotel (2nd best to be precise). The room was tiny and couldn't even accommodate our luggage. Bed size It was supposed to be a ”large double bed” but it was tiny that we couldn't sleep well. We had 5 years old - already mentioned while booking. They could have simply rejected our booking by saying that the bed would not accommodate a kid. Bathroom and accessories It was again very small. There was nothing. No hand towel, soap, toothbrush, or sleepers. There was a shower gel and a shampoo. And some tiny lizards in the bathroom which was scary for my kid to use the washroom. I must mention that one of the staff was helpful in getting rid of one of those lizards we encountered and I had to shoo the rest of them away by myself. Pricing on Booking.com We paid 336$ for two nights on booking dot com and expected better rooms and services but the actual room cost which I got to know at the hotel was only 80$/night which explains why the services were not great. Booking dot com definitely fleeced us. You can directly reach out to the hotel to book the room if you're interested. Also, we had planned to spend two days in the city to explore after spending a few days on a private island. Though one day was enough to explore the city! Overall, it is a 2-star hotel and not recommended for a family. Good for solo travellers for a short stay (not more than a night). I would not recommend this hotel to a couple! The only positives were the sea view from the room and the location.

Hygiene: The most important thing for hotels in this price range in Madai is cleanliness. This one is very good. The room itself is relatively small, but very clean. The bathroom is particularly clean and there is no odor. This alone is worth the price of admission. Service: For a hotel, the second most important thing is the convenience of transfer. Inform your next destination when you check in, and the hotel will take the initiative to contact you for pick-up and drop-off. And the hotel itself is on the artificial main stage, very close. You need to return to the airport island from here to transfer water and speedboat, and you will be there in 10 minutes. Taking the initiative to carry luggage and so on is considered a standard feature of Maldives. What was beyond expectation was that the breakfast area was small but had an unparalleled view. Living on the 8th floor, having breakfast on the 9th floor, all with direct sea views. The flocks of pigeons downstairs are definitely an unforgettable memory. A hotel worth passing by again.

I found this hotel at booking, sadly not so many reviews, but i decided to give it a chance. I really liked it, it was clean, very close to the ferry port (to and from the airport) so I arrived this way from the airport. Rooms are pretty and renewed. Bed was comfortable. Nice air conditioner and fan, both working and helped me to feel fresh. I had a dinner which was really tasty, my congratulations to the person who cooked it. Also overall all the staff were really friendly and polite. I had my departure early at the morning, so they packed my breakfast in a box. Liked: - Staff: Very friendly and polite. Always answered my emails and at the hotel they made my stay very nice. Thanks for this. - Location (5 minutes by walking to ferry) - Food, very tasty dinner (though I ordered a spicy food that I like, but if you don't be careful about what you order) - Room was clean and fresh. I really liked this place and I completely recommend it.

We stayed here for the second time before catching our flight home after a dive trip. It is fine for one night, the room was clean and the air con worked great. This island is man made, so space is at a premium. We booked a twin in the hope that we might have a bit more bed space, but the floor space was not really big enough to have both our dive bags open at the same time. However the staff were absolutely delightful. The rooftop restaurant was really nice and the food and service was great. We had to leave at 5.15 and there was a lovely breakfast spread out with yogurt and juices and fruit beautifully presented. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

After a bad experience this holiday booking somewhere on the other island opposite Male for our forward journey, I was getting my hopes up! But upon arriving at Somerset we were greeted with smiles, a drink and cold towels. Not to mention the lovely driver who gave us some information on the city during the drive from the airport. The hotel, by any standard, ticks all the boxes! The restaurant has the best food and after walking around the street we decided we wouldn’t eat anywhere else. The staff go above and beyond and were friendlier than the island resort we’d spent 5 days at. This was the first time we actually wanted to ‘tip’ the staff. The room has everything you need. Yes the air conditioner in the main room smells a bit but it’s the same in Bali. It can’t be helped with the humidity! And the other comment about the call to prayer noise, you’re coming to a country that has their own traditions and I can’t see why you wouldn’t be respectful of that. Worst place I've ever stayed in my life Never stay here, Probably you would be regret I Arrived in the Maldives at 11pm So I was looking for a place to stay nearby where I could just, just sleep. The reviews were good and it didn't seem like a bad place to stay for just sleeping, so I booked it. It's biggest mistake of my life. Before I go to maldive, I emailed to pine lodges for 5 times to request an airport pickup, but other than a response that the pickup would be $25, I never heard back from them to confirm my reservation. On the day of my arrival in the Maldives, I keep inquired about using the airport pickup. But they never reply my email. So I ended up taking a taxi from the airport to the Pine lodge However, when I arrived and checked in, the receptionist said, ”The room is fully sold today, sir.” ***?? It's midnight I heard the room is out I have to go resort to the next morning, But they just keep saying they didn't receive my reservation and maybe It's mistake from management for almost an hour. It was really driving me crazy. After all, they offer me another hostel in similar condition It's perfect nightmare in my first day of maldive Please, Remember my review 몰디브 도착이 현지 시간으로 저녁 11시라 근처에서 정말 잠만 자고 나갈 숙소를 구하다가 Pine Lodge Maldives로 예약했습니다 리뷰도 괜찮고 잠만 자고 나가기에는 나쁘지 않아보이길래 예약한 거였는데 제 인생 최대의 실수였죠 공항 픽업 서비스 요청을 위해 이메일을 5번이나 보냈는데 픽업비용이 25달러라는 답변 이외에는 제대로 된 예약확인 관련 회신이 없었습니다 몰디브 도착당일까지 공항 픽업이용 관련 문의를 했으나 답변이 없었고 결국 공항에서 택시타고 숙소까지 갔네요 근데 숙소 도착하고 체크인하려고 보니 리셉션 데스크 직원이 ”오늘 방 다 나갔는데염, 손님” 와, 익일 아침에 나가봐야하는데 자정까지 예약 접수가 제대로 안된 거 같다고 확인만 근 1시간 넘게 하니 정말 사람 미치겠더군요 진짜 욕나오려던 거 + 피곤한 거 간신히 참고 그럼 이 시간에 어떻게 해야되냐고 물으니 비슷한 컨디션의 다른 숙소로 구해다주겠다고 해서 결국에는 도보로 5분 걸어서 다른 숙소에서 묵었습니다 절대 이 곳에서 묵지 마세요 후회합니다
