Hotel Sorra Daurada Splash

Really poor in all aspects. Room was never cleaned properly with rubbish left in wardrobe from previous occupants. The cleaners even left our door open all day after cleaning. Food is the usual deep fried freezer stuff, they ran out of cutlery, coffee cups and glasses in the restaurant. Staff are all incredibly miserable and not particularly helpful. When checking out they tried to hang on to our security deposit, which for our party was over 400 euros, our coach for the airport was waiting outside and we were lucky that one of our party spoke fluent Spanish and we managed to get it back.

Not a great experience overall, very noisy hotel. Most staff were unfriendly and not helpful. Rooms are really small. As a family hotel it had a lot of issues, pool opened too late and closed too early, you spend most of your morning waiting for the pool to open and then there is a rush from everyone trying to get a bed. Nowhere near enough umberellas for a family hotel too . The evening entertainment started way too late which was a shame. There is a nightclub under some of the rooms at the hotel, we requested to move once we checked in due to the noise. After 4 times asking and the receptionist and the manger being rude and telling us the whole hotel is noisy and we need to deal with it, we finally got offered another room on the other side of the hotel on our second day which was a lot quieter. Food was good, hotel was nice and clean and modern. Pools were good for the kids which was the best part of the hotel. Overall wouldn't return, if you go request a room facing the pool to avoid the noise.

Kids loved this holiday...we have booked again for this year! We were lucky to get room with a sea view. Rooms spotless. Food average but plenty to choose from. Entertainment good for family in hotel at evenings. Swimming pools fantastic for kids. Shops and restaurants and bars all very close. Basically on the beach with a short walk. Would recommend.

Sadly, things weren't as expected, so we came home early! Gutted to turn up to what 'online' was a thriving, fun filled, water park, hotel to Sadly being greeted at night after a love holiday, frankly, crap list of instructions, to an instant money charge, one small room for 4 sleeping together like in the 1940's! No kettle or safe without paying, weren't informed we'd get it back, so didn't! Got up in the morning and tried to be positive to find out all the main pools had closed the day before we got there, so an instant downer and shock as that was the main reason for booking the holiday for the kids! There were many people smiling, but the minute you talked to them, we were bombarded with bad experiences. Trying to make our own minds up just enjoy ourselves, we were met by those experiences. The Freezing Little Pool in the shade of the hotel, rude and unhelpful staff, (lady and young lad at bar were friendly though). Apart from haloween efforts, entertainment was non existent, so had to go elsewhere, outside of the hotel were you met ************ and pic pockets, that instantly made you feel on edge! Kids couldn't eat food, which was OK but very greasy! So kids ate poorly, we eventually ate out and I've never seen them eat so quick! But shouldn't have had to! Some things to do outside if you looked, but the whole point of all inclusive is you shouldn't need to! We came home early, and it's sad that everyone was happier here after months of looking forward to coming away!!

Nice hotel for budget We were 13 of us The kids love the pools The staff was fabulous specially the bar man and the room attendant Ilona the dept reservation managed the get us a room for five on request The only down side of it was the food had not lots of variety But room was cleaned daily We have a great time Thank you all

Do not stay hotel has 2 night clubs underneath of hotel so Carnt sleep till after 4 am food always cold and repetitive Que over 20 mins for a drink not wheelchair friendly slides and pirate pool closed some staff very rude room not cleaned cleaners used to fold dirty towels and put them back on the rails would never return to this hotel Carnt eat food round the pool have to sit on the tables food not covered and flys all over. It if u like rabbit and fish you will be ok all good undercooked the pic of the gap is where the wheelchair wheels would get stuck

We arrived on the 28th October to be told the splash pool ( the only reason we picked the hotel ) was closed as of from the 29th. So we had a day and half to enjoy the ONLY area that had any sun and things for kids to do in that area with a little play and grass area. Absolutely nothing at the top pool which was shaded every single day from morning until late afternoon so it was absolutely freezing. The pool itself was like an ice bath. It was enough to give any children hypothermia! My daughter and her friend who are both 5 years old could only last 10-15 minutes in and out to the point they were crying because they were just so cold and with it being a shaded area they didn’t even have abit of sun to warm them up. It was horrendous. Also as the main pool was closed all week it also meant no pool bar either. Which then just made the already big ques for drinks and food even bigger and more frustrating every single day. I have never ever been to an all inclusive holiday resort and having to que for more than a few minutes for anything. This hotel was on another level. Sometimes 1 person on the bar. Waiting attests 10-20 minutes at a time. Sometimes longer!!! Staff here are miserable, ignorant. Only one guy who did any entertaining all week was friendly but rubbish English speaking so that wasn’t good either. Reception staff were rude when asking questions. They didn’t care about your complaint or what you had to say. Just shrugged shoulders and that it. The hotel itself. Room was ok. Definitely not a 4* bar any means. Clean enough bed sheets and bathroom but the floor was never swept or cleaned the whole entire week so stuff constantly stuck to your feet and having to brush your feet off when putting shoes on! No daytime entertainment. Except a foam party. But obviously was only open for one day so that’s all we seen. They love Halloween here and if it wasn’t for that reason the evening entertainment was virtually none existent with loud ferel kids running around on stage doing their own thing and parents not giving a care in the world. Absolute random loud loud music being played. Any Halloween entertainment that was on stage started after 9 o’clock. The only proper kid’s entertainment all week which was Disney characters started at 22.45!!!! What the hell. Who actually starts children’s entertainment at THAT time. Beyond belief. My daughter missed it all as obviously she was in bed asleep. This night was the 31st October. So to top this off the nightclub under hotel ( which you aren’t aware about !! ) was on until 6.30am. Absolutely disrespectful to any family there. And then fact it’s a family hotel !!!! The loud base was banging all night and we were on the 4th floor and could hear it so clearly with shouting, cars screeching up and down the streets. It was an horrendous night !!! At this point we just wanted to go home but still had 4 days left here. Was horrible. The room was so noisy and busy we spent 3 of those in our rooms
