BJ Hotel Pinomar

The worst accommodation that I have ever stayed in by a country mile. This in my opinion is more like a hostel than a hotel. Not even a wardrobe to hang ones clothes in. There was a thunderstorm during our stay and we woke up to a pool of water on the floor!! Thank goodness for the lovely, helpful Tanya in reception who organised alternative accommodation for us.

Stayed for a week in July. Good points. Great location, 2 minutes walk to the beach, great views from the room, television and remote in room, cleaned every day with fresh towels, free WiFi in reception area and a decent breakfast (same everyday but was always fresh). I have no real complaints. Slight bad points but didn't bother us for the price we paid. No air con just a fan so room was boiling at night, as other comments no lock on balcony door but we were on 3rd floor so would take some doing to get in, bathroom very tiny, room quite noisey as on busy road. Not hotels fault but the transfer bus drops you a 5 minute walk away so had to find it at 3am in the morning in the dark. Thank goodness for Google maps. You will have a decent stay here for a decent price but if you want entertainment, pool, evening meal then you need to book somewhere else. Resort area is lovely and clean, lifeguard on beach, plenty of shops and places to eat, lots of activities. We enjoyed our stay.

Room is shoebox size, no aircon just a fan on the wall so Room is like a oven permanently. No cupboards or drawers just 3 shelves and a few coat hangers, bathroom is disgusting and couldn't swing a cat round in it. No table on the balcony just 2 old directors chairs, breakfast is continental meats boiled eggs tomatoes, cereal the cheapest they could find fruit juice powdered from a machine and of course coffee and tea also toast. The view from the room was fantastic overlooking the sea, the young man James on reception and the bar was excellent very accomodating. The bar prices were very reasonable, summing up it needs a complete makeover I wouldn't go back ,I doubt if anyone would after being there once.

After long traveling finally arrive to S'illot, to get our confirmed hotel room at BJ Pinomar hotel, we found a closed hotel, nothing more. A piece of paper tells the company offer another accommodation to Pinomar guests. We had to walk apprx 700m under the sun with luggages and finally got a room with no sea view. Actually the another hotel not at the beach! The room was noisy all night.
