I just stayed in this hotel with 4 of my friends and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. This hotel has a perfect location. It’s in the centre of the city, short distance from the Mall Road and has the most captivating view of the hills. My first impression and the favourite place of the hotel were there beautiful garden with hydrangeas all over. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, clean with wooden floorings, modern bathroom etc. They offer connected rooms as well which works great when staying with kids or even in a group like us. The suites offer a small kitchen and is great for making basics. I went for a full body massage and was totally impressed both by the spa and masseur. Spa was modern and beautiful and the masseur had great knowledge and the right technique. What more can you ask for? :) This is one of the best places for food. We did try few places around but nothing compared to the food being served here. It’s fresh, flavourful and they have tonnes of variety. Don’t think we repeated a dish even one day. Special mention to the trout fish - I can just go back for that. Finally what makes this property unique is its staff. Right from the time we entered till the time we left - we didn’t see even one of them without a smile - super helpful and going out of way to ensure we are comfortable. Thank you Johnson’s Lodge & Spa for everything. You sure know how to make good memories :)

I visited Johnson Lodge & Spa with my friends for a long weekend. Excellent location walking distance from the Mall Road. mesmerising views of snow capped & lush green mountains all around. The gardens were blooming with flowers which was a delight to the eyes. Extremely comfortable stay in the Suite with Mountain View’s and lots of natural light coming in. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The highlight was the very delicious food on the menu with the perfect ambience and music with the live bands. Must try the Nachos and the Trout Fish with mushroom sauce. They have a lovely Spa which is a treat in the mountains- got a very relaxing Foot massage 5 star rating on that too. The staff was very humble and took great care of us making my trip very memorable. Will Surely recommend for the best Manali experience.

Had the best time in Johnsons lodge & Spa. Once we reached hotel, we got a mesmerising view of Hills, and lush green garden with exotic flowers blooming all around. This property is one of the best in terms of natural beauty, cleanliness, customer service, food quality. Rooms are modern n stunningly done. We were a group of five so stayed in suite plus one attached room which was perfect for us. Rooms are spacious and elegantly done and fitted with AC, comfortable bed, sofa, working desk, wardrobe, fridge, microwave and all other comforts and amenities. The washrooms were spacious with bath enclosures and bath tub in suite, all necessary toiletries were also provided. Staff is well mannered and always ready to attend the need of the guests. We are thankful to everyone present there and all who attended us Sahil, Karan, Ganga, Sonam During our stay on weekend we also enjoyed live bands and music from some of the popular bands of Manali including “Shankh”. By far the most beautiful vacation i've been on for a long time. PS- please definitely try their in-house speciality Trout in all three flavors, Pizza, Mexican nachos, kebabs and butter chicken. I am definitely visiting again.

Service beyond par and beautiful views. We travelled as a group of friends for a 3 nights stay at Johnson lodge and Spa . Besides the spectacular views and the most convenient location(just above the Mall), this property offers the best services by their staff and management. Right from check in we were greeted by themost cheerful and helpful staff, which goes out of their way to make us comfortable. The food here is to die for and the restaurant offers fresh and flavourful meal options and is a known name amongst the locals. We were there over the weekend and in the evenings the place just turned so lively with the best bands in Manali playing for us. All of us enjoyed to the core and are already planning our next stay maybe in winters to catch snow laden views! We would like to thank the management for making our stay a truly memorable one! 🥂

We stayed here in March for 04 nights, it's just 2 minutes walkable distance from mall rode, great location, beautiful view, very professional and friendly staff, we were looked after very well through out our stay they have this beautiful bar with live music. Rooms are very big and spacious, hot water was available all the time and room cleaning was done everyday. We highly recommend the place and thank you to all the staff for looking after us!!

Good lodge in Manali for stay very near to the Mall Road. Adjacent to the famous Johnson cafe, this place also has in-house Multi cuisine dining with bar. They have a SPA and a small garden. Rooms have good view, facing snow clad mountains. and have live music band playing every evening. We enjoyed their hospitality for 2 nights Raksha in the restaurant was very efficient, friendly and provided us excellent services. Vicky at the reception was a good host. Overpriced compared to other stay options in Manali

This is NOT a paid review. We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. Room 202,204 which was right above their bar. First night I thought maybe it’s a one of event so didn’t really ask the hotel staff to reduce the volume as I didn’t want to be a pain. 2 nd night it felt like I was in a club. It took about an hour for the staff to reduce the volume. I spoke to them around 9:10pm they reduced the volume at 10:15 the volume was reduced from max to mid, bass was high. Before 10:15 I could feel the vibrations after the volume reduced I could hear the music definitely not able to sleep. Third day was live band. Live band finished early however Music by the DJ was stopped at 11 pm to which I was surprised. That’s when I could finally go to sleep. I paid this hotel for 3 sleepless nights. I spoke to the hotel managers and the DJ where they said even the outside guests have paid to have fun at their bar which I completely understand but one thing was missing from their end that the staff could have done a better job buy giving rooms away from the bar or on the 2 nd floor. No initiative or awareness to keep customer comfort was observed. No service recovery was done by the hotel staff for my 3 nights 2 rooms stay. They could have at least changed one room. They had zero initiative from their end. If you are looking for a place to just crash after long day trips or an expedition, this place is definitely not the one, you cannot sleep before 12 as the music with the highest bass is on till late even though their live band leaves early. It’s a good vibe if partying but not nice when trying to sleep. This was my first vacation after Covid with my family where I wanted to have a good time. I definitely feel guilty for booking this place as everyone end up having the worst time. The only thing I needed was good rest for me and my family which I didn’t get. Living outside India I take pride in my country’s hospitality from Indian hotels, restaurants and airlines but this hotel was a complete Shame.

Must visit place for the hospitality and the food, the food was just amazing and the way the chef came out to present and talk about the dish, I really can't see anyone in manali doing something like this. The management was great and i ended up staying for long. Thank you Mr. Sushil for your help.
