The layout of the room is reasonable, the king-size bed is very comfortable, and the hotel service is also very good. The front desk staff took the initiative to ask and introduce the local road conditions. The concierge will help you park the car. If you misread the date and booked the room for the next day, the front desk management staff also helped to adjust the order. Check-in felt very good, and stayed for another night.

the property and especially the rooms were fab!! however the surrounding area was not great! the fact there was no pool and a small bar surprised me it was a 5star but a lovely breakfast and beds were amazing. would stay again

Lucky to be gifted a champagne afternoon tea by our friends for our anniversary. Had the pleasure of being served by the lovely Denilson who welcomed us warmly, served us effortlessly and was extremely professional always friendly and had a marvellous smile. The Lowry surpassed our expectations and the afternoon tea was scrumptious with a delicious array of both savoury and sweet dishes. We both enjoyed ourselves immensely and will definitely return.

Room was beautiful as well as comfortable. On arrival we were informed we’d been upgraded. We’d already reserved a superior room. The upgrade was the same standard of room but overlooking the canal. Whilst appreciating that the Lowry have no control over state of surrounding area, the building opposite is in deterioration & there are overgrown ****s along the canal. We’d taken a bottle of wine therefore rang down to Reception to ask for a bucket of ice (we’d already tried to ring bar/restaurant & even housekeeping but calls were unanswered). 45 mins later, still no ice bucket so rang again & was informed one would be sent up. Another 20 mins later still no result so I ventured to bar. Although staff were very apologetic & an ice bucket was provided; it’s not the point in a 5 star hotel. Bed was very comfortable so no complaints there. We’d booked breakfast. Food was delicious and range of items to choose from were 5 star standard, however I’d ordered tea & my friend coffee; I had to ask for milk and then when our toast arrived, had to ask for butter. I would recommend the hotel but it’s the little things that do make the difference from 4 to 5 stars.

We have stayed at The Lowry several times before. The hotel is spotless with high standard rooms. Clean and well stocked. Housekeeping is also great, as soon as we left the room it was turned around. Food is of a good standard. Wi-Fi works well. The staff are well trained, very friendly and so helpful. The only issue we has was the car park. The code to get out says valid until checkout, but they assume you stay for one day. After 2.00pm the code stops working but no one told us. Waited at the barrier on two days for a while to get out. Great hotel would recommend.

Fantastic stay and service. Rooms large very clean and beds so comfortable. Reception staff and Denilson in the restaurant outstanding we had a lovely Sunday lunch and breakfast and his service and attention was outstanding! Only disappoin**ent was balcony at area out of use which we normally love to sit at!

My wife and I had our Sunday lunch at the hotel, the food and service was excellent, the waiter who was looking after our table was called Denilson , he was helpful and friendly and nothing was to much trouble, the food was first class would highly recommend it for a special occasion.
