Britannia Hotel City Centre Manchester ★★★
"I only stayed 1 night. At about 11pm.the bathroom ceiling was leaking a lot of water. The hotel receptionist viewed the my room checked upstairs then returned with a towel. I had to ask for a change of room. In the morning my new room the shower didn't work. I will be asking for a discount on any future bookings"
Manchester Marriott Hotel Piccadilly ★★★★
"The location of the hotel is excellent. The toilets and towels are dirty and request made to staff are seldom entertained. Disappointed with the service."
Britannia Sachas Hotel Manchester ★★★
"Great room with standard amenties and the room has all the essentials. The downside of having no windows in the room is that it'l be super hot in the summer which luckily they porvided two fans but it's still very hot inside."
Holiday Inn MANCHESTER - CITY CENTRE by IHG ★★★★
"The room's location is great, very close to the train station. It has air conditioning, but Manchester isn't particularly hot anyway. The shopping center is also nearby. Breakfast is Western-style with a decent variety. There's also a Chinatown nearby with Chinese restaurants."
Yotel Manchester Deansgate ★★★★
"The location was great , staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room size was perfect for 3 adults. Had everything we needed and the bonus was we were allowed to check in early. I would definitely recommend staying here . Will look for more of yotel hotels on future city breaks ."
Leonardo Hotel Manchester Piccadilly ★★★★
Stay just minutes from Piccadilly Station. It’s a stylish, stress-free base with a great on-site restaurant.
MALACUNA Manchester ★★★
"Such a great place to stay! Amazing location especially if you’re there for the night life!! The rooms were so great. The beds with the curtains and lights were super comfortable and had great privacy- felt like a capsule hotel! Aircon worked great. £9 breakfast was so delicious! Cons: Not a social hostel. Interesting (strange) clientele. Not really fault of the hostel and just bad luck I suppose, but I would be remiss to mention- I ended up moving to a 8 person mixed dorm because the 4 person female dorm I booked had guests that were very visibly dirty and pungently smelled like fish and sh*t (stunk up the room). I asked to be moved immediately and was accommodated. I was not offered a refund (for the price difference), however, when I asked for free breakfast for the room downgrade + negative experience and was given it which I appreciated."
Travelodge Manchester Ancoats Hotel ★★★
"This is probably our 5th or 6th time we have stayed at Ancoats Travelodge and I honestly can say the staff have always been great special mention to Elena, Daniela, Faith, Ty & Bernadette who all went above and beyond!! I know for a fact I will be coming next year.as Manchester is a great city!!"
Holiday Inn Express MANCHESTER CC - OXFORD ROAD by IHG ★★★
Stay steps from the train station and universities. It’s the ultimate base for quick travel, offering a free breakfast to fuel your day.

The Rex - Formerly Hotel Gotham
"I thought this hotel looked lovely and would be an ideal stay for my wife and I in the centre of Manchester. I can honestly say that this is one of the best hotels i have stayed at in the UK. The service was 1st class from all members of staff throughout the hotel. The food was fantastic, i would definitely recommend dining in the restaurant. The bar area and rooftop option is superb with a great atmosphere. The suite we stayed in was top class. No complaints at all, and i will certainly be staying at the Gotham hotel the next time i'm in Manchester"
Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre, A Verified Net Zero Hotel
"Good location, clean and basic accommodation. Good value for money."
The Midland
"Attending an annual conference in the UK, I found the hotel incredibly convenient, being just a two-minute walk to the convention center. I'd say this is the best hotel in Manchester; both the facilities and service were excellent. The breakfast was delicious, and the bar also offered a great atmosphere. It's my top choice for business travel. The only minor downside was that the curtains didn't close tightly enough."
Castlefield Hotel
"We visited over the weekend for our first trip to Manchester. Having driven 4+ hours, we were very grateful to be able to check in late at night nearly 10pm. We were greeted by a very professional, friendly and polite receptionist who quickly gave us our room key and information about the breakfast service and hotel. The room was fantastic, and felt like very great value for money. It was spacious, impeccably clean and had all the amenities needed to get ready for a night out in Manchester! The view of was gorgeous and the bed very comfortable. In the morning, we were able to make use of the amazing sports facilities at no extra charge. The team at the sports centre were very helpful and friendly, they provided tokens for the lockers, directions around the brilliant facilities and towels so that we didn’t need to use our own. To top it off, we paid for the £10pp breakfast buffet and came towards the end of the service. Yet the options were still all available and delicious. Again, really great value for money and a good way to finish our stay. We will definitely return again and would recommend to anyone who wants a comfortable stay, close to the city centre and great value for money. Thank you to the fantastic team who made our stay so special!"
The Manchester Deansgate Hotel by IHG
"This hotel is super convenient, just a two-minute walk from Deansgate station, and close to other city center attractions like the art gallery and library. It used to be Manchester's tallest building, and it still offers decent views. They provide free breakfast; while the variety isn't huge, both the taste and quality are good. The room isn't very big, but the view from the window is nice. I really liked the scent of the shower gel and lotion. My only minor complaint is that the shower stall is a bit small."
Malmaison Manchester
"Advantages: Good location in the city center, convenient food and transportation, 300 meters away from Picadilly train station, the room and bathroom are large enough, there are capsule coffee, bottled water, small water bar, small refrigerator (powered but not very cold), hair dryer, makeup mirror, shower gel, shampoo, hand soap, large soap (larger than other places), and female hygiene products are also prepared, there is no separate conditioner, disposable slippers are in the bathrobe pocket, and the European area brings its own toothbrush and toothpaste. I have a street-facing room, but it is not noisy. Disadvantages: According to our ordinary East Asian standards, the hygiene is not good, and the room has a smell. The supplies after daily cleaning are sometimes replenished and sometimes not. It seems that it all depends on whether the housekeeper remembers it, but if you ask for it, they are very friendly. Overall, it is not a pitfall"
Innside by Meliá Manchester
"The room was super spacious and comfortable, not at all cramped. It was also pet-friendly, even providing a dog bed, snacks, and toys!"
Radisson Blu Hotel Manchester Airport
"Fantastic for plane lovers. Staff were v helpful and responded quickly to an issue which we were happy with. The exec rooms are becoming a bit tired and needing a bit of a overhaul soon especially for the cost."
Mercure Manchester Norton Grange Hotel & Spa
"A short trip outside Manchester! Nice spa but could do with a bit of tlc. We went to a concert in Manchester & was cheaper to stay here then city centre."
The Townhouse Manchester
"Great location and such a lovely hotel - love the black tiled bathroom very beautiful. Really lovely and clean would stay here again in fact this was my second stay here. The building is super beautiful too. Would have loved some bottled water in the room and a coffee maker but the hotel was such a great price!"
B&B Hotel Manchester Sportcity
"Booked because I missed my last train."
Ibis Budget Manchester Centre Pollard Street
"The receptionist is the most kind and doing her job perfectly out of all the hotel I have stayed in Manchester. The room was made me disappointed when I was enter as I don't know who the hell design hotel room like this, it has weird smell in the hallway as well. But after staying one night, the amenities was enough and convenient, pillow and bed is comfy and soft. But you will have to pay to get coffe or tea bag, what a shame but overall it was a good stay."
Travelodge Manchester Central Arena
"Excellent value for money. You can't really ask for more at this price."
