"Was surprised a room was available at a decent price just days before our concert at the COOP Live. But that's because it hadn't officially opened yet! It was so new it didn't have any signs! We were lucky to be among the first to stay here and everything about it was shiny and new. The reception was immaculate down to hoover lines on the velvet sofas and the gorgeous fragrance released through the area. The staff were so amazingly friendly. They were down to earth and chatty - and in very cool uniforms. I noticed they had self check-in screens too which I know people will appreciate. The whole hotel was so stylish, fitting for its location between the Man City uber stadium and the music venue. The room was small, comfortable and had an amazing view of the arena. We could watch the queue from the window. Bathroom was very chic with high end shampoo, shower gel AND conditioner. We found the Three Rivers bar on the first floor after the concert (the two minute walk back from the arena was a blessing for sore feet) and it was stunning. One side overlooks the soon to be finished square which will be home to more restaurants and bars and is attached to the Etihad stadium. The staff were so nice - told us all about what was to come and that they expect the bar to be packed before every concert and football match. I absolutely don't doubt it. The staff were just outstanding. Even before arriving I had emailed about parking. They sorted an email link to book and on arrival we had a lovely handwritten note in the room from Millie who had been answering our emails back and forward. Felt so welcome here and hope that we can come back - but I think it's going to be hard to get a booking if everyone catches on to what a gem this place is."

"If you're spending a night at the airport, this is a great option. It's very clean, and the pods are really well-designed – bright and airy. The price is decent too. Highly recommended, and it's super close to T2."

"It was just okay, and there was no fridge. The front desk service was really bad. It's also a bit far from the airport. For Terminal 2, Holiday Inn or Ibis would be closer and more convenient."

"I thought this hotel looked lovely and would be an ideal stay for my wife and I in the centre of Manchester. I can honestly say that this is one of the best hotels i have stayed at in the UK. The service was 1st class from all members of staff throughout the hotel. The food was fantastic, i would definitely recommend dining in the restaurant. The bar area and rooftop option is superb with a great atmosphere. The suite we stayed in was top class. No complaints at all, and i will certainly be staying at the Gotham hotel the next time i'm in Manchester"
