Great
HhakunaVery close to the train station, and we were upgraded to a two-bedroom apartment. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you can cook your own meals. There's a supermarket and restaurants downstairs. Highly recommend!

QQianduoduo2007I left some clothes in the room, and the staff promptly emailed me, offering to return them to me at my convenience. There's also a hotel deposit of around £100, which takes a bit longer to be refunded, probably due to international processing times. The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel is very close to the University of Manchester, with a supermarket nearby. It's very convenient, and there's a 250 bus that goes directly to the biggest shopping center. The bathroom design was a bit odd; the water switch for the shower was opposite the showerhead, and the shower stall itself was about 10 cm higher than the rest of the bathroom, which felt a bit strange.
Wweiwen82Very good experience from the beginning to the end. I was greeted by Michelle and she was so helpful and super friendly. When we asked reception for the help to reset the heating, they came to help immediately and very helpful. Clean room perfect location for early flight. Will stay here again.
Special praise to Michelle from South Korea. She is making me feels so welcome and show me directions to the airport. Recommended me with membership benefits. Thank so much !
AAnna. WLocation was rather far from the Piccadilly train station — 15 min walk, (contrary to what others mentioned) so it’s a little inconvenient for those dragging a large suit case.
They gave me an accessibility room at the start but I managed to change it due to the help of the lovely blond counter staff! There was a male staff who was extremely nice during check out as well. Staff deserve a 10/10!
The room was nice — bed was large, room was spacious and clean. Only gripe was the small window which made the room feel a little stuffy. Room comes with a small fridge, iron and the bare toiletries. No slippers, toothbrushes!
Overall, must better experience compared to their other branch at Manchester central (although I must say that that branch is more central compared to the Piccadilly outlet; public transport and food options wise), especially in terms of their staff.
Would stay again but only if I’m out of more convenient options in Manchester.

GGuest UserThis is a grand and historic hotel, and I had a very comfortable stay. Its location is fantastic, right in the city center and just a short walk from Manchester's Chinatown. My only complaints are the unclear smoking signs near the entrance and the tiny ashtrays provided. There was also no doorman to offer assistance or reminders. This could easily lead to fines (as enforcement seemed rather discreet), which unfortunately cast a shadow of frustration and disappointment over my trip.

GGuest UserGreat location, not walking distance to the airport but less than 10mins in a taxi, cost £10.40 around 9pm. Good shuttle bus every 20mins from 3am, cost £3 pp or £8 for family which we used, very good. Grab n go breakfast was good . Will stay there again.
AAnonymous UserDuring my recent stay at this hotel, I found the overall experience to be enjoyable with top-quality fittings and furnishings. However, there were areas that required improvement. The hotel itself is pleasant, but enhancing the service and room cleaning would significantly improve the guest experience.
A standard room was paid for but a disability-accessible room was provided. We requested to change it to a standard which was done immediately without any questions. No water bottles were provided in the room initially; they were only given on request and only two small bottles were provided. Additionally, the room cleaning service was unsatisfactory. Despite requesting it twice over 4 nights, the cleaner only changed the sheets once and neglected to take out the bins vacuum, replace towels or clean the bathroom. This was particularly disappointing given the length of my nearly week-long stay.
The breakfast was beautifully presented with various options but unfortunately remained the same every day lacking any variation. Some areas were particularly poor. For instance, the scrambled eggs had a distinct smell and were overly watery. Adding tomatoes or simply varying the options every few days would have improved the experience.
One concern we had was the cleaning team. Twice the cleaner used his universal card to enter our room without ensuring no one was present. My partner was in the shower and our young baby was asleep. We heard a knock but were unable to reach the door in time. Upon reaching it we realised he was already entering. This occurred twice and on the following day we decided to chain the door for privacy reasons.
In other hotels we have stayed in, privacy is of the utmost concern for staff and they would never even risk opening someone’s locked door without making sure. A better system needs to be in place here.
AAnonymous UserStayed at this hotel previously when it was ibis styles. The location is perfect and look and feel is similar to when it was previously owned. We had an issue proving we had late check out even thought this had been pre-booked and should have been on record. The room are becoming quite worn even though still modern. There was constant standing water on the bathroom floor coming from wall times under the shower and the carpet in the room at the door was really damp giving off a smell. The shower was very cold on the first day and even when the hot water did come on the second use it still wasn’t very warm. Overall the standard was poor and had dropped from the previous visit so wouldn’t be staying here again.

HHangzhouwuyanzu1427The location is super convenient, really close to the Schengen visa office, less than a five-minute walk away. It's also very near Chinatown. The front desk service was excellent. However, the facilities are quite old and small. Remember to ask the front desk for a toothbrush and slippers; when I stayed, I couldn't get slippers because they said they were out.

GGuest UserMy man told me the doors locked yet there wasn’t any batteries to make functional, he also said I looked like a stoner n can happily smoke ****, so I took upon his request and enjoyed my stay to the fullest, was beneficial of the pricing range as the cost was no more then a 3.5 per bedroom
As for the the essential part of the trip, my associate commandeered a new sleeping partner,
So many thanks to the OUO house members for letting us stay in Middleton 😘
