Guest UserThe room was immaculate.
So clean. Amazing dishwasher. Soap. Microwave. Fridge with milk. The staff are nice too. The location is extremely ideal. Eco friendly hotel with bags for food waste and b corp certified products and a water bottle to fill and reuse. I experienced pure blackout blinds for the first time in my life, wow! There's a handy 24/7 pantry and an uber stan
Things to consider:
There's no phone in the room
There's no parking and it can cost £40 for a day though it is next to the hotel
We couldn't get in at first as no one answered the intercom but someone let us in by luck who was passing through
Microwave was a bit high for me but reachable
The sink fills up with water quick so you can't do water running for long which is fine

Tiger_TravelerWe had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Regency Manchester, and it was an excellent choice for me and my son.
The room was very clean, modern, and well maintained, with a comfortable bed and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The bathroom stood out with its sleek design, spacious shower, and quality amenities, making it both practical and stylish.
The staff were consistently friendly, polite, and helpful, which made our stay even more pleasant—especially when traveling with a child. Their professionalism and warm attitude truly reflected Hyatt’s service standards.
The location is very convenient, particularly for families. There is a bus stop nearby, making it easy to hop on and travel to different locations around Manchester without hassle. This saved us time and made moving around the city simple and stress-free.
One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the breakfast. The breakfast selection was exceptional, with a wide variety of fresh options including juices, eggs, pancakes, pastries, fruits, and hot dishes. Everything was well presented and replenished, and we genuinely looked forward to breakfast every morning.
Overall, Hyatt Regency Manchester offers a great balance of comfort, location, and service, making it ideal for both business travelers and families. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it—especially for those traveling with children and looking for a clean, welcoming, and convenient hotel in Manchester.

Guest UserThe location of this property is excellent and was easily the highlight of our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance, and the bathrooms were clean and well maintained.
Unfortunately, there were a number of issues that affected our overall experience. The blackout blinds do not fully cover the windows, allowing daylight through the sides from very early in the morning, which made it difficult to sleep. We initially had to change rooms due to cleanliness concerns. In the first apartment, we found some soiled items in the bathroom bin and a heavily rusted tin opener. In the second apartment, there were unpleasant smells coming from the fridge and the cupboard under the sink, and while the tin opener was in better condition than the first, it also showed signs of rust. Some areas also appeared to have been missed during cleaning, including around the fridge hinge.
The biggest disappointment was the comfort. The sofa beds were uncomfortable to sit on, with the cushions constantly sliding forward. The main bed was even more disappointing. It appeared to be two beds pushed together, was noisy whenever you moved, and provided one of the poorest nights’ sleep I’ve had in accommodation. By the end of our stay I was waking up with a sore, stiff back, which was particularly frustrating as this trip was supposed to be a break after several weeks of physically demanding decorating work at home. For a bed advertised as a large double, it also felt surprisingly short.
We also experienced an issue with our room key after arranging a late checkout, which meant an unnecessary trip back to reception to have it reprogrammed. Noise from furniture being dragged around in the apartment above was noticeable during our stay as well.
Overall, the apartment had the facilities we needed and the location is hard to fault, but the comfort, maintenance and attention to detail fell below expectations. While I appreciate the friendliness of the staff, I would think carefully before choosing to stay here again.

joeyk64Well I have stayed in this hotel twice before and cant help but say it has lost its shine. Check in was fine. We booked a premium room with club lounge. The lounge was great. Nan who was working there absolutely loved his job and was great. He served us with drinks from 6 till 8 he told us it was party time. Had a great laugh. The room was a nice size comfy bed. Had a very stale aroma although appeared clean. I found I think the bathroom was the source of the smell. The water pressure was very low so the shower was disappointing. We slept well and headed out and down for breakfast. Dirty dishes and glasses littered the corridor at night time and still there in the morning. Breakfast was ok. Good quality bacon and sausage choice of eggs cooked freshly for you and omelettes everything you would need was there. Did what we need.

We booked this hotel because we had an early flight from Manchester, and it was such a pleasant surprise! We arrived during a heatwave in the UK, stepping out of a stuffy, non-air-conditioned car feeling like we'd been in a sauna, into a wonderfully cool and air-conditioned hotel room. It was incredibly comfortable!

Adeyinka AdeniranOutstanding hospitality and superb facilities
As someone who travels frequently for business, I am used to standard hotel procedures, but the team at The Manchester Deansgate Hotel completely blew me away for this leisure stay. They responded brilliantly to our pre-arrival requests, upgrading us to a beautiful King Skyline room and adding thoughtful touches like a welcome note from the manager and complimentary drinks. The hotel’s physical assets are in top shape, the 2nd-floor pool and sauna are peaceful and high-quality, and the breakfast service was seamless despite a busy weekend. Exceptional execution by the management and front-desk team.

Guest Userno parking at this establishment and no dropping off available at times as their maintenance and delivery vans might take up the small space cut into the front pavement. They do provide you with a discount voucher at nearby public carparks. Rooms are clean but the decorating is a patch up job throughout. The noise from the tram it is horrible and through the night as windows are not soundproof. In our room the heating was out of order and oil filled radiators were put up instead. Television sets have either the option for TV channels or to connect to your phone: bad aerial prevented viewing most channels and TV only connected to the staff's androids and not to our iphones. There was no options for apps such as youtube or netflix and kids have to entertain themselves on their tablet. Swimming pool is the size of a private one in a residential home. Staff is courteous and the breakfast is way and beyond satisfactory. The majestic hall from their photos was nowhere to be seen. Would go again if no other options shall be available at the time.

Anonymous UserI booked a one-bedroom apartment for three guests. When I checked in at around 7:00 pm, the reception staff told me I would have to wait until 10:30 pm for someone to set up the sofa bed. If I didn’t want to wait, they offered to give me the bed linen and asked me to set up the sofa bed myself. To make matters worse, by 10:30 pm, no one had come, and I had to go back to the reception desk to ask when the sofa bed would finally be prepared.
I’ve travelled to many places and stayed in numerous hotels, but this is the first time I’ve ever been asked to make up my own sofa bed. I was genuinely surprised that such a well-known hotel chain could not arrange for housekeeping to prepare the room before guests arrived.
To make matters worse, when I entered the apartment, the kitchen bin still contained rubbish left by the previous guest, which gave a very poor first impression and raised concerns about the cleanliness of the room.
On the positive side, the hotel’s location is excellent. It’s within walking distance of the Northern Quarter and Manchester city centre, with plenty of cafés, pubs, and restaurants nearby. There’s also an Aldi supermarket right next to the hotel, making it convenient to buy groceries and prepare meals in the apartment. The apartment is well equipped with a full kitchen, which is a great feature for longer stays.
Overall, the apartment itself is modern, spacious, and well equipped, but the service was extremely disappointing and fell well below the standard I would expect from a hotel of this brand. Unfortunately, the poor service overshadowed what could otherwise have been an enjoyable stay.

TheVoyagerThe room was clean and cosy and front-desk was friendly and responsive. We booked mainly to check out the pool, spa and gym as advertised by the hotel. So it was really disappointing when we found out that these facilities were closed on Xmas day and on other days operated at limited hours when we were there. The pool, sauna, steam room and gym are operated by a separate company from the hotel. That meant operating hours of those facilities are not catered for hotel guests at all. And it also meant sharing the facilities with members of the gym. So if you’re thinking of staying here and using the gym or pool, just bear those things in mind. Breakfast selection was quite limited. Very bare selection of any salads or greens. Quite embarrassing as well to see that clean plates were not available several times when there were less than 20 covers at breakfast. I understand it was the holiday season and the hotel is understaffed. But I’m sure this is not the first Christmas or NYE the hotel has encountered.

VithiyashanExcellent service by Jean. She helped with our check in when there was an issue with finding the booking. The beds were comfortable but the floors were slightly dirty with food and breadcrumbs on the floor. The men’s lobby toilets was shocking and could definitely be cleaner.
Walking distance to many food places, grocer and public transport. The hotel entrance unfortunately faces the back lane so you will walk pass quite a few rubbish bins and have to deal with the smells.
