Has always been a favorite because of the large rooms, ample parking, decent food, ac location in the room (away from the face. However, was disappointed this time because of a few reasons. House keeping wasn’t available to take the bags and we decided to take them up ourselves rather than wait. The place has started to look a little dated. There was a strong pungent odour in the parking as well as in the room. The phone in the room wasn’t working and so ended up ordering via swiggy multiple times. The housekeeping staff were punctual and kept the rooms neat. However, the restaurant ***ager (the one who took the orders) was lax and while the waiter kept asking him to come to me to take the orders, he didn’t bother. Also, when i told him there is an issue in calling from the room, he asked that i inform the reception. I hope he realises that it’s the restaurant that loses business when people are unable to call and not the hotel. The person who helps with the parking is excellent and i have seen him to be very helpful from the onset of the hotel. So mixed feelings this time.
