Metro Plaza Hotel by Rak Rooms, Mangaluru

"The hotel is near the Mangalore central railway station, and this was an ideal position for us as a one night stop over before boarding the next train. In the room there was complimentary tea/coffee making facility, towels and toiletries. We had to request toilet paper, this wasn't an issue as it was then brought to our room. Breakfast was good with a variety of English and Indian choices and good coffee. The were only a few negatives. The smell in the room. Housekeeping came and sprayed with air freshener but the smell was back later. The noisy air conditioner fan. There was no view from the windows, it being frosted glass with a blind covering making the room feel a little claustrophobic. The ongoing construction work outside the window and huge booms of noise during the night (obviously this isn't the hotel's fault)"

Treebo Sky City Grand

"Everything was good, nice service, a bus stop was in front of the door and some stores. Only the food was really bad, dishes were dirty for the included breakfast and orders and my veg soup came with a dead fly in it. So sleep there and don't eat there."
