I used it for a business trip and it was fine and good.
The location is good and the bus stop is nearby so it's convenient.
However, the parking lot is paid, but the price is not very small, so it would be good to take this into consideration.

The service at reception during checkout left a lot to be desired. Otherwise OK. The location was great. The furnishings in the comfort room are outdated (for example, there was a very small and old TV). The bathroom and the bed were excellent.

Well-maintained hotel in the center of Mannheim, right next to the water tower. Rooms are a good size.

The location is convenient, about a 15-minute walk from the mannheim railway station. If you have less luggage, you can walk directly there. If you have more luggage, it is recommended to take a taxi, because you have to cross a lot of roads.
The hotel lobby is not big, the check in is very fast, the reception is very polite, the rooms are normally separated by German hotel equipment, and the breakfast choices are average. Overall, but not lost

Visiting Mannheim quite often for business so I had the opportunity to try some hotels around the city. This one is from far the best in regards of facilities, rooms and staff. The check-in was a delight, easy and super fast with Paul, which is a really nice and charming guy. He's definitely a great professional and knows how to give the customer a great experience. Overall the front desk staff are nice and welcoming. On the other side, if you are requesting lunch box (if you're nor able to have the breakfast in) please consider that because the breakfast isn't cheap and the lunch box it's totally not worth it. On the first morning it was good, with some options, but on the 2nd and 3rd it was disgraceful - since they're charging 23€ for a sandwich, a bottle of water and yogurt. It's disrespectful and offensive to charge such an expensive breakfast and don't offer a proper lunch box with variety of food in there (such as pastry, some juice, some scrambled eggs, whatever). On the second day I complained and I was told that they would refund me for this one and that in the morning after I would get a proper lunch box - did not happen, next morning i got to the reception and the lunch box was just some more sandwiches, water and yogurt - making me believe that they/the kitchen staff consider an acceptable breakfast a couple of sandwiches (with not that fresh bread giving the idea that it's from the day before) and charge this crazy amount of money. I would expect some variety on breads, pastry, croissant, some juice, something warm from the available options, but not. Even the packaging is terrible - sandwiches in plastic film like I am in a summer camp. Despite of this really unpleasant experience with the breakfast to go, I would like to visit the normal breakfast and see if it's worth the money. Would stay there again because the hotel it's clean, fitness facilities and sauna are clean. If you skip the house keeping you get a free drink at the bar. I would give 5 stars, but with this terrible experience regarding the lunch box I cannot do it.
