Driving from Chongqing to Huanglong Jiuzhaigou, we set out after lunch. Maoxian County became the best place to stay. This hotel is the largest in the area.
You can't compare it with hotels of the same price range in the Mainland. That would be unfair. It's just average. No surprises or regrets.

It was expensive to stay for one night on the West Sichuan Small Ring Line. There was plenty of hot water. The whole family washed their hair and took a shower, finally washing away all their fatigue. The kettle is clean and the bed is very comfortable. I think it's pretty good. The location is at a three-way intersection. It is very convenient to stay there to save time on the road. The buffet breakfast is also great! Oh, and the toilet paper is quite big.
