The apartments are nice and comfortable with pleasant quite surrounds and the restaurant is very pleasant, continental breakfast is included in the price, free Wi-Fi in the restaurant and bar area, a car really is an essential if you want to discover the surrounding area, 55 km from Lisbon and 10 km from Setubal, a taxi from Lisbon Airport around 60 Euros. Excellent base for explore the region, Palmela Castle, Setubal city for shopping and supermarket for all your needs, from Setubal you can get the ferry boat to Troia Peninsula complex and beach, a visit to Lisbon is a most, you can get a train from Lisbon to Sintra or Estoril, a visit to Belem to the famous ”Pastel de Nata” (custard tart) Overall a good place to spend a quit holiday, I recommend the Palmela Apartments. We drove from Newcastle to Plymouth and then Brittany Ferries to Santander(Spain) and from Santander to the Palmela Apartments is a 7 hour drive. I do recommend these apartments.
