Club Ako Apartments

First time staying here, met up with friends and arrived at the same time, nice friendly welcome on arrival checked in and my bags where carried upstairs to my room, I had a big room with a double and single bed, a TV with films sport and news I didn't see any soaps or British TV but you can bring firestick with you to keep your kids entertained and yourself if you fancy a quiet night in, had kitchen area table and chairs a 2 ring hob which heated up very quick, kettle, pots, pans cutlery, had a balcony with chairs table and clothes horse for your washing, it was lovely and clean, maids where in everyday beds changed every 3 days towels when needed, toilet roll given free I know most places you have to buy yourself, the breakfast is nice so is their lunch menu only ate once for dinner as I like to go out different places to eat, its a family run hotel and they run it well, I met up with people who has been going for 9years so that says alot for this hotel I would definitely recommend it, its close to the fountains and grand bazaar only 15mins 20mins to blueport good location as I love to walk about. I met some great people and hopefully when I return to Marmaris il will book this hotel

On arrival we were told we were on third floor (one of only two on this floor), despite having requested ground floor due to my having osteo-arthritis of the hip and spine. The owner said that he had received this request but ground floor rooms were more expensive - I could have one for the discount price of an additional £210! Rooms were reasonably clean, linen was only changed once in our 14 night stay. Food was good, but wine was bad (as in off) and I was told they could put some sugar in it if that would help!? Staff were all very friendly, but I felt the owner was more concerned with money.

I loved everything about this place, the staff, location, food it was just brilliant.. it’s a small family run hotel, and they will do anything to make your stay more welcome.. we have already booked to go back and I can’t wait,, the hotel has even offered to pick us up at Dalaman,, brilliant… anything you want to know just send me a message I will help anyway I can

Well what can I say? If you are planning a trip to turkey club AKO would be a must for stay. The manager/owner and his staff are superb they go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Cleaners in every day clean bedding and towels daily. And the little dog is so friendly and cute she comes over for a stroke and if you stop she gives you a little nudge on ur arm to say come on dnt stop, she even comes out with the owners n staff to see you off when you leave ❤️. The hotel itself is small but friendly n clean plenty of sun beds n room in pool. I could write a full script on how enjoyable my stay was but ovs not enough space on here. All I can add is book I know you won't be disappointed.

!! AVOID Club Ako apart!! Just returned after 9 awful nights at this hotel from hell. On arrival we was told our room would not be ready until the following day so was put in an overflow room which happened several times throughout our stay to other new arrivals. We witnessed another guests room being flooded and the staff failed to help the elderly couple move their soaked through items into another room. Throughout our stay the staff were very rude and lacked customer service skills. My Daughter was bitten by the owners dog as she entered the hotel. The owners couldn't care less. Once we reported the incident we did not receive any apology and the dog was still left unattended in the reception area while kids were going about the hotel. They also charge £8 per day for air conditioning which doesn't work very well 200 lira each guest for Wi-Fi which never works £4 per day for use of the safe which is in reception. The air conditioning unit in reception area is never on. the hotel. They also charge £30 for a late check out which is only until 4.30 Our bed sheets were never changed during our nine night stay and towels only changed every three days. The cleaners work very hard keeping the hotel clean but they are only following the owners instructions.

We have just got back from the most amazing holiday in Marmaris, staying at Club Ako. Well this was such a lovely place, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. We were greeted at the reception where our cases and bags were taken to our rooms. The rooms were lovely just what was pictured before we booked. The pool area and bar are always busy but nothing was too much trouble for the owners and the staff. Mehmet and all his staff work tirelessly to ensure you have the best possible holiday. I would highly recommend Club Ako if you are thinking of holidaying in Marmaris it is central to everything and has lots of different sides to this beautiful place. Still currently here family can’t do enough for you 100% will be back very relaxing outstanding cocktails and food. Will write a longer review when home but they have catered to us and our mobility issues by going above and beyond honestly can’t express my gratitude and to think I was so anxious about coming to Turkey because I have never been. We have had the best few days so far from belly dancing, salsa nights and bingo 😻😻

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at Club Ako, it was our first time in Turkey so we were a bit worried about the reviews that we had read however, we didn't need to be!! All the staff were great and very helpful, one family member is a ceoliac and they were great with making sure she could enjoy the food and providing her with special meals. The room was a great size and cleaned everyday and the outdoor areas were spotless. We never had any issues getting sunbeds and anything we needed help with was arranged straight away. We would definitely return the Club Ako, thank you for a lovely holiday 🙂
