Hotel with a very nice courtyard. Service ok. Food and excursions offered by the hotel have a high margin.

A bon entendeur

The riad is very beautiful, clean, a real haven of peace in a bustling city. On the other hand: don't book any excursions with the riad, even less a spa... they sell it like crazy and offer discounts... in short, a riad that reflects the city. Younes is warm, but he is there to sell, he puts too much pressure - and does not pass on the information: we had asked to bring forward the departure time at the airport, in the end the driver was never informed; we re-pointed the invoice because it was not anticipated according to the private travel offer (€50 too much on the invoice - “discounts” not applied); and we left for the airport without breakfast, which was included! We had a complimentary massage - we went to another riad; the place is cramped, unkempt and you can hear all the noise from the riad and the street... you might as well not offer anything! Hamza (the night watchman) was affable in the face of our frustration and tried to delay - a gem!!! What a shame that this riad is an extension of the city: the customer is a walking wallet. And it would be nice to turn off the music at a fixed and reasonable time :(

The riad in Marrakesh is unfortunately not very clean. The room looks fine on the surface and the courtyard of the riad is gorgeous. We have now spent a total of 4 days in the riad. The room on the first day was very dirty, especially the shower is a horror. The drain seems to have never been cleaned and has turned a bright mustard yellow over time. On the second, third and fourth days we were in the Atlas Mountains. On the fifth day we came back to the riad and asked for a different room. The management was kind enough to put us in room 6, which is on the first floor. However, the room here was not in the best condition either. The toilet did not always drain, the shower was dirty, the bed was so uncomfortable that from day 5 onwards I had such severe back pain that I could no longer sit up without help. My partner did not have any back problems, but he also found the pillows rock hard and the bed very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I am also someone who is very picky when it comes to cleanliness. At the Riad, you get the feeling that everything was polished for the photos and then the Riad was left to decay. Sockets are not properly covered. Tiles are chipped and poorly patched or not patched at all. Joints are dirty. Everything is cleaned superficially, the bed is made and the floor is mopped. All in all, at first glance, it seems OK, but at second glance, you notice that the attention to detail is lacking. The manager was very friendly and competent, which unfortunately cannot be said of every employee. The taxi service confirmed the wrong pick-up time for us on the return flight, so that at the end, a Riad employee very rudely told us that we were late and that the driver was already waiting for us and was now leaving without us. Luckily, we were able to catch this at the last minute, but this is not good organization on the part of the Riad and the cooperating taxi company. When paying the bill, we were also charged the tourist tax several times, even though we had already paid for one day. You don't get honest advice, but rather get the feeling that the Riad is trying to add half a euro to all tourist activities. In some cases we were quoted three times the price for activities, so you should get comprehensive information first. The wellness offer is an overpriced joke.

Very warm welcome and pleasant riad, on the other hand avoid taking the spa trea**ents that it offers which takes place at the riad jamaa elfna terrace (the flight for the service because just an ordinary room for a 1 hour massage and hammam for 825 Mad : for this price, we expect a place and a pure moment of relaxation and a zen a**osphere ... but there nothing .... it's depressing .... but nevertheless a good massage and hammam.. .. so avoid this place!! Prefer a spa like the Marahja in Marrakech where the services are cheaper and more high end in a top location!!

The only reason I booked this Riad was because of its manager, he managed multiple riads, and I stayed at a different riad prior to this one. I was lucky I guess... I exchanged a few words with Ossama and he advised me to change riads given this one has more to offer. The rooms were spacious and very clean, the service was top notch, and I can't seem to get the taste of the offered breakfasts off my mouth. I'll definitely stay here again given the chance.
