"The hotel was perfect, and the stay was just as we were leaving. We took a taxi through the hotel bellhops, and the driver quoted us 200 dirhams instead of the maximum 150. We gave him a 50 euro note, and the guy drove off without giving us change. Shameful and disappointed by the taxi driver's attitude."

This is a guest house, not a hotel, and they treat you like family, not like a customer, which my wife and I absolutely love. To me, that is what makes Riad Dama exceptional. The staff are all incredibly kind, thoughtful, and helpful, especially Jamal. He texted me before we even left Colorado, and has been an incredibly gracious host. I cannot recommend Riad Dama and Jamal enough. It has been an absolutely magical experience so far, and I am happy we still have a few days left."

"We didn’t research well the area. This Riad is a good 20mins walk to the Main Medina. The twisted alleys make it hard to get to and you get teenagers bothering you and sometimes it gets too much, more so when it’s women! The Riad is ok. The room we booked was disappointing and on the ground floor. Small and basic but all clean. The roof top is amazing and really nice place to chill and to have breakfast. It suited our needs for the 1 night. The staff ( manager, Khadija and Idriss ) were very nice and helpful. They made the difference to our stay."

"Excellent location in the old part of town. Walking distance from markets and sites to see. Ismael greeted us with tea and cookies and gave us a map and directions to major sites and best times to visit. He also arranged a driver to bring us to the Riad, a trip to the desert and every staff member courteous and helpful. We went back a few times as we traveled around Morocco. Breakfast was cooked fresh with fruit, pastry, orange juice, jams, coffee and tea. A superlative stay that we cannot recommend highly enough."
