Great
AAdrianaA lovely place to stay, Marrakesh Medina is a labyrinth, we are glad that the riad (Rachid)picked us from the door the taxi left us, anyway we found the place with the instructions - map, explanations that Hasna gave us, she was kind and always ready to help with whatever we needed, Rachid also helps us with transport and information, I love the square pancakes and Mouna patiently taught me how to make it. It was a pleasant stay even though we had tours everyday we just slept in the Riad. The only downside is the bad smell from the pipes in our room toilet, we think is due to old pipes, Hasna apologised and tried to fixed it. They are aware of the problem.
GGuest UserWe had a wonderful time at Riad Medina D’or! From booking to our warm welcome, the delicious breakfast and the staff’s guidance, and assistance with luggage etc really made it an incredible experience. The courtyard is beautiful and a lovely place to relax.
Meloud and Zuhair went above and beyond to make it a memorable stay for us! Would love to stay again.
SSHICHAOFor the first night in Morocco, I chose to stay at the Riad-style B&B next to the Square of Sleepless. It's easy to find roads with Google Maps. When you come to the hotel, it is recommended to prepare cash payment in Euros in advance. If you use Dirhams or swipe your card, the exchange rate is DH10.8/€ (10.4 at the airport, 10.7 at the square). The hotel room is fairly clean, but there is a lot of dust on the bedside table and a lot of ants on the floor. There is air conditioning but no slippers. Front desk service attitude is okay, will provide some nearby suggestions. Breakfast is eaten on the rooftop on the top floor. It is full (vegetarian bread jam coffee orange juice yogurt), very emotional. Scammers are rampant in the nearby square, just pay attention to safety.
MMarianne :)We had a lovely time staying at Riad dar Medina Land. Staff were fantastic and gave us a warm welcome. Breakfast was great. Great location as well, on a more hidden street but easy to walk to/from the centre and it was nice to be on the quieter side of the Medina at times. Only issue was on the first night there was a double booking so we had to stay in another riad, otherwise all good and even this situation was dealt with nicely.
Would recommend staying here!
GGuest UserThe shower only had cold water, and the entrance was up a flight of stairs, so it was hard to carry heavy suitcases. However, it was nice that they asked me if I wanted a quiet room or a room with a view of the street. The guy at the front desk was nice too.
ZZuihaodemenghuanzhichengIt is very close to the Marrakech train station in Morocco. There are many supermarkets and restaurants around, making shopping very convenient. The front desk service was good, the room was clean, and we stayed there for several nights.
