The property was beautiful, with an inside pool and roof terrace, as well as being wonderfully decorated. It was also in an excellent location, an easy walk to jamaa el fina but in a relatively quiet part of the medina. Breakfast was simple but tasty and we had dinner there one night and it was probably the best thing we ate in Marrakech.
The biggest highlight of the Riad though was undoubtedly the staff, Adam and Nordin going out of their way to make you feel special and valued every day. There was another young lady who worked there too (sorry, I never got her name) who was also very helpful and nice.
Couldn't recommend staying with these guys on your next trip to Marrakech more.

The staff at the Riad and the Riad itself were perfectly lovely. It really is great value for the price. We ate in Riad first night (we arrived late) and the tagine was one of the best I have had in Morocco (I've been twice and tagine almost every time). Definitely recommend spending the money to have the hotel arrange a taxi from airport, or arrange with Riad staff to meet you to walk you to the door as the route could be intimidating the first time. Location was perfect for us, everything we visited was within 5 - 30 mins walk.
Only negatives (very minor!) - should have bottled water included in room price and available in room and the location would make some solo travelling women a bit uncomfortable in early morning or after dark....

Excellent séjour dans ce Riad au cœur de Marrakech! Personnel très aimable, à l’écoute de nos besoins. Chambres propres et très jolies. Joli terrasse en rooftop avec transat, canapé et tables à manger. Intérieur du Riad idéal, présentant un petit bassin et des oiseaux. Petit déjeuner délicieux. Snacking à toute heure.

Como buen turista en Marrakech, los taxis no llegaban al Riad y te dejaban en un sitio donde te esperaban dos otres personajes de la zona para llevarte y intentar estafarte, suerte que soy más listo que todo Marruecos y ni uno pudo estafarme pero el Riad estaba tan escondido que casi sucumbo a pedir ayuda. Wifi lentito o inexistente, habitación bonita, y un trabajador para todo el hotel. Para finalizar si vais a partir de las 8 de la tarde no le deis muy fuerte al timbre de la puerta porque se pueden despertar los otros huéspedes.

Had an absolute amazing stay. We were welcomed with nothing but care, love, and respect throughout our entire stay. The staff are extremely attentive, and will do nothing less than take care of you every need. Can't wait to go back and stay further nights.

Could not have asked for a better stay at Riad Dar Massai! Adam welcomed us in with mint tea and cake and explained in detail all the places we could visit on our trip, which we really appreciated. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed - we especially liked the sun terrace where we had a couple of evenings watching the sun going down. Nordin was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble and he went out of his way to make our stay the best ever. He would always greet us with the warmest welcome and he took us to go and book a hammam on one of our days there. We also enjoyed some delicious couscous during our stay cooked by the wonderful woman at the Riad (feel awful that we can’t remember her name!) she was also amazing at helping us to and from the taxis to the airport. The location was perfect, close by to everything. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone - thanks team Riad Dar Massai:) From Anna and Ben

We verbleven 3 nachten in deze Riad (verspreid over 2 delen: een eerste nacht voordat we op trek gingen in de Atlas en bij terugkeer nog 2 nachten). Vlotte communicatie om de boeking te regelen (en ook het luchthavenvervoer). De Riad is moeilijk bereikbaar met de taxi, maar ze kwamen ons afhalen aan de taxistandplaats vanwaar het nog 5 minuutjes stappen was naar de Riad. Zalige ontvangst met een glaasje thee en een uitgebreide uitleg over wat we in Marrakech allemaal zouden moeten zien. Zeer mooie kamer! De Riad straalt een ongelooflijke rust uit midden het drukke Marrakech. We hebben er ook zeer lekker gegeten. Zowel het ontbijt als het avondmaal zijn aanraders. Een avond hebben we in de stad gegeten, waarbij Nourredine ons een fijn restaurant voorstelde en de boeking regelden. Prijs/kwaliteit is dit een zeer goede Riad, een aanrader!
