The room is warm and cozy. The hotel is close to everything from restaurant, money changer, old medina souk and Ben Yousef Madrasa

Bonjour,
Sincèrement c’est largement suffisant pour y passer quelques nuits. Un peu bruyant du fait qu’il est quasi sur la place Jemma el Fna. Mais Il faut savoir ce que l’on veut.
Seul bemol, des bruits de déménagement de bon matin dans la pièce du dessus ( on occupait la 205)
Sinon dans l’ensemble ça va

Hola. No puedo hablar bien del Hotel Ali "Baba" Cambio. Les escribimos por correo hace 6 días y aún no tenemos respuesta. Cambiamos el pasado 27 de marzo a las 8.52 horas 50 euros en dirhams y tras pedirnos el señor que nos atendió, nuevamente la tarjeta de debito, ya que no se había realizado bien la transacción .......hemos comprobado en España que nos dieron cambio de 50 euros, pero nos viene un cargo de otros 50 euros. Es decir, nos han estafado otros 50 euros. Si no es así no entiendo como no nos han contestado al correo. No recomiendo cambiar euros en este lugar.

Son emplacement dans la médina est judicieux. A deux pas de la place, du souk et des arrêts de bus . Protégé de l'effervescence de la ville l'hôtel ali propose des chambres avec baignoires . Le ménage est fait quotidiennement. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et se présente sous forme de buffet

We were offered one room with 7 beds, stuffed like sardins in a tin, while our guide had booked two rooms for five! No other room available, 8pm, no choice but to accept. In the room: TV and aircon did not work, there was no window except one opening on a little laundry room ( the person did open the window at 10pm, waking up our son), and tap evacuation in the bathroom was blocked. 2 towels for the five of us. We were offered ONE other room,slightly better, after one night (3 night stay). No discount no apologies, not even a smile. Greatest drawback remains noise: people talking in the corridors at all times if day and night. Breakfast was very nice, though.

Gave ali a 5 out of 5 because its worth it.its great value for money. Its in the middle of everything so no need to taxi to shop the owners and staff are super nice and it has the best exchange rate in marrakech that even outside visitors travel for the value it gives .the rooms with balcony are cosy and huge balcony to sunbathe and watch all the livelyness of the medina .ali has 2 restaurants the one on ground level has the best burgers in medina food is quality for us Europeans.

Nous étions plusieurs fois passé devant cette hôtel en nous demandant s’il faisait également restaurant. Effectivement c’est le cas. Nous sommes monté au dernier étage et avons commandé un couscous pour certain, des tajines pour les autres. Un seul plat et unique. L’ensemble s’est avéré convenable, sans plus. La grosse déception viendra de la vue sur la place Jemaa el-Fna qui est vraiment moche, puisque devant les baies vitrées, vous pourrez voir de vieilles enseignes, joncher le sol. Une note finale, qui sera de 80 € pour 5 personnes, correct.

We had an issue in the exchange point of the hotel, which seems to be the best one in the city. The guy in the exchange point asked to enter the PIN number twice in the payment system because, apparently, it did not work the first time. We got the dirhams we asked for, but we got two charges in the bank. When we realized that, we went back to the exchange point but the guys were quite rude and they were not willing to check anything to help us. I do not want to think the treatment was so bad because we were four women, but they asked for our guide and told us to go to the police. On top of that, although this place is famous for not charging any commission, today they charged a 5% (it was adviced, the paper was just below the one that said they do not charge commission). Our bitter experience in Marrakesh. Quite disappointed, we had already gone to that place without a problem.

The Hotel Ali is a unique hotel. I have been coming to the hotel for the last 17 years and it holds a special place for me. It has a wonderful atmosphere that hasn't changed over the years. It is located right by the main Jemaa El Fna square with an amazing rooftop terrace overlooking it. The rooms are clean and good value and some come with a terrace. The staff are also very nice and hospitable. I would like to give a special mention to Hind at the reception who was always very kind to me. Finally, the buffet breakfast is delicious. I highly recommend staying here.
