This is a fantastic Riad, located in a quiet alleyway, off of the main medina in vibrant Marrakesh. I had a lovely time staying here - it felt so intimate, attentive and personalised. There are only seven rooms, which created an incredibly calming atmosphere, especially needed after a day navigating the endless souks of Marrakesh! The breakfast being included in the price is a wonderful touch - and it was absolutely delicious - freshly made each morning and served beautifully. The interior design of Riad Tahyra is a spectacle - the intricacy of the tiling, plasterwork and wood carving was a marvel to behold and truly elevates the Riad above others in the surrounding area. The staff were always friendly, despite the language barrier, and made me feel at home. If you’re looking for a competitively priced Riad to base yourself at in Marrakesh then I would highly recommend Riad Tahyra! 🇲🇦

the raid is not big so as our room but the overall experience is still very great! The staff are nice and helpful, we are served with mint tea upon arrival. The room is clean and tidy, and well equipped with facilities. the location is inside the median so not very convenient but I believe all hotel in medina are less convenient.

The breakfast is rich, and the birds are accompanying you while eating breakfast, which is so back to nature. From the square to the hotel, you need to pass through the market and then pass through a very deep alley. There are several people standing next to it at night, which is scary. At an intersection of the alley, there is a gathering place for cats, many cats.

This place is very good. The Chinese don't lie to the Chinese! ! When I check in, there will be mint tea and snacks to eat. The place I live in is also very clean and bright. The air conditioner is very warm, and my body is still warm when I wake up (except for the toilet, which is a bit cold). The yard is very beautiful, very suitable for taking pictures, and the breakfast is delicious. The most important thing is that the people here are very nice. I didn't know the wifi password, so I called the front desk, and a very polite gentleman came to help me enter it. We left late the next day and wanted to store our luggage here. They immediately agreed and put our pizza in the refrigerator! When we came to get it, the young lady said take your time, you can stay for a while before leaving, so I fell asleep in the yard... I heard someone talking in my ear, and opened my eyes to find that it was yesterday who helped me enter the password My husband told me that you can go to the next room where no one is staying, take off your shoes and have a good sleep on the bed. All in all, I highly recommend everyone to stay here! ! !

The hotel is 1 km from the main square of the Riad, through the market. Breakfast was very simple.

Really fabulous stay in this sweet riad. Stayed in the sahara room for 4 nights in May 2023. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were incredibly helpful and I cannot fault them. Breakfast tasty and in beautiful setting. Thank you :) A few things to note: - You can hear the call to prayer clearly so if this bothers you then bring earplugs - There is no direct access to cars so make sure you have maps downloaded from when you get out of the taxi - You don't get a key to the front door so you need to knock

This Riad could be good or bad depending on the room you get. We got a very small room on which there was not enough room to open the luggage. We saw that there were larger rooms and requested to change to one of those paying for the difference if needed but they said that there were no rooms available. Also our room face the street were kids were playing soccer until late at night. In summary don’t stay here if you get a room on the first floor facing the street

If I could put 10 stars I will. Riad in the heart of Medina, easy to find with maps and super central. Staff were absolutely amazing, polite and ready to support for everything, even little things like turn on lights. Our room was tiny but comfortable and extraordinary clean! AC available, loads of towels and super comfy bed. Rich and delicious breakfast also in the morning! If you go to Marrakesh this is the right place we’re to sleep.

Incredible little oasis in the middle of the hectic Medina. The rooms were spacious and clean. The highlight for us was the incredible staff and service, nothing I can say will do their efforts justice. All we had to do was say a word and the staff were willing to do anything to help. Even down to the cleaners, who would come in daily and fold all our clothes and put them neatly in the cupboard, something I've only seen at top notch hotels. Fantastic homely place to stay, highlight recommended!

We spent 3 nights at Riad Tahyra and couldn't be happier with our choice. The Riad is in the middle of Medina just steps away from the busy souks, tucked away in a quiet side street that is quiet and peaceful. The interior of the Riad is stunning. It has 2 internal courtyards and an amazing rooftop setup. The room was beautifully finished with a comfortable bed that felt brand new. Good bathroom with big rainfall shower head and good water pressure. The room was serviced twice a day; in the morning and in thr evening with clean towels exchanged as needed. Wonderful attention to detail. The staff were very friendly with daily advice about Marrakech and always eager to please and accommodate requests, such as mint tea just before bed in the beautiful courtyard. The breakfast was hearty and plentiful with bread, butter, honey, boiled egg, jams, cake, yogurt, pancakes, juice and mint tea. Super stay! Highly recommended 👌

I will start with the good: staff and the riad. Staff = amazing. Thank you guys. You were very very nice. 5 stars The riad = clean and nice reformed. What we have missed in the room was a fridge. When you have 40 degrees outside you need to store some cold drinks. Breakfast: enough if ou are not a demanding one.I will give 4 stars fo the riad Location: this is the weak part.Situated in the middle of the souk with no direct acces from the Jemma el Fnaa square (you have to do a full round in order to enter to the hotel street). So no car access, you have to round the souk to enter, in the night the area is a little bit creepy...We did not have any incident but the area really is 2 stars In the end I gave 4.5 stars for the staff and riad itself. The area is not the riad fault.

When I decided to travel to Marrakech for the first time, I spent a lot of time choosing a riad, as I like Islamic art such as mosques. I wanted to be able to enjoy beautiful Moroccan interiors from the moment I woke up in the morning. And I fell in love at first sight with the Suite Room (kaid) at Riad Tahyra. The purpose of this trip was to see the interiors of riads, so I changed rooms in Riad Tahyra and stayed in the Deluxe Double Room (koutoubia). Each room has its own merits, and I can't write them all here (please check it out on instagram!). The deciding factor for the Suite Room (kaid) was the color coordination of pale green x white (plaster sculptures) x peacock green. It may be a little darker than the photo, but that's not a problem. It was very cool and comfortable. The brass in the shower and wash area was also very nice. The decoration of the Deluxe Double Room (koutoubia) was a little more modest, but the wash area in this room suddenly became hotel-like. Marble! And there were two washbasins. It was spacious and very convenient. And it's bright. Is it really that different just from the first floor to the second floor? It's so bright. The patio also looks different when you look down from the second floor, which is fun. The patio (courtyard) is also beautiful, and the sight of the birds bathing and collecting leaves and branches to build nests, as well as the constant chirping, made me feel like I was in a picture book. The riad's kind consideration of leaving a plate for the birds to bathe and a little food was also nice. Every time I think back to that view, it makes me feel like I'm in a dream. Access is not bad either. The vacant lot adjacent to the riad is a little dark, and I felt a little uneasy when I passed by for the first time, but the security was not bad. During the day, children are playing and it is lively. I liked Spice Square more than Fna Square, and I went there every day. It was also convenient to have dinner at Nomad, which is a 2-3 minute walk away, on the first day. The only thing I would appreciate is the response to inquiries. As this was my first time traveling alone in Marrakech, I was a little worried, so I sent emails and Instagram DMs in advance to ask questions, but I never got a reply, which made me anxious. (When I actually visited, all the staff were calm, kind, and friendly!) Each room at Riad Tahyra has its own unique character, so I would definitely return and try a different room next time. I'm looking forward to meeting all the staff again!

Couldn't be better. Total cleanliness and unsurpassed friendliness. Especially the receptionist, I think Shirjad is an example of professionalism and service, she goes out of her way to help. Located in the Medina of Marrakech in the heart of the souk. Ideal for exploring the part of interest on foot.
