Riad Al Wafaa

We decided on this Riad because we saw that it had a swimming pool in the photos that appear, the surprise was when we arrived that it did not exist, even so, when we showed the photo to the girl at the reception, she offered us the possibility of going to take a bath in another Riad of a known to be near; the girl was nice and offered solutions the trip application should be kept updated and with real photos in what it offers.

Clean, comfortable, Riad very well located for visiting important sites. a good breakfast and above all a very warm welcome. We had a very good stay as a family. Thanks to Mohamed and Imane for their availability and kindness.

We stayed from February 16th to 20th. The riad is in a well-connected area, full of clubs, 400 meters from Jemaa el-Fna and very close to the Medina. You cross the street and enter the Mellah, the Jewish quarter. Very clean, in a side street which makes it very quiet, despite the Marrakech traffic reigning supreme just a few meters away. Palais Bahia and the Saadian Tombs a few meters away. Our room was on the top floor (Purple room), very large and excellent for 3 people, large bathroom and terrace to enjoy, a few meters from the storks of Palais Badi. Good breakfast, excellent wifi, lots of info from the very nice and very tall Hassan and Zakaria.

Clean and well decorated room. Good welcome and attentive staff to help. Nice and varied breakfast. Good food for dinner which must be reserved. Freshness of the place if the weather is rainy...

The worst experience of my life. The owners canceled my reservation a few days before my arrival because I did not agree to pay a supplement of +100% of the initial price requested by the booking platform. A nigh**are that I wouldn't wish on anyone. One piece of advice: avoid this riad. The platform won't be able to do anything for you... you'll have to find a solution on your own. A dream that turns into a nigh**are.

A dirty and bitter experience..The best advice is to avoid this riad and those managed by the same team if you don't want to spoil your vacation. The owners send you a message a few weeks before your arrival, asking you to pay a supplement (+1700 €!!!, in total more than double the initial price of the booking platform) if you want it to remain active. They claim that the price sold by this platform was incorrect!! and that's not enough for him..and he can't pay his employees..!! You should know that the reservation was validated more than 4 months before...and I paid half the price (almost €1000).... They change the price, you receive a message asking you to accept or refuse . By refusing, your reservation is automatically canceled. Then, you contact the platform which informs you that hosts have the full right to cancel...and kindly advises you to look for other accommodation.

Riad near the center and in a quiet area. Extremely kind welcome and total availability for every need. Spacious room on the terrace, clean and comfortable. Breakfast a little poor but ok. Recommended for the value for money.

A very nice riad in a quiet area but a stone's throw from Jamaa el Fna square. It is located outside the confusion of the souk, however, on foot, in just a few minutes you can reach the square and the other attractions. The staff is kind, Fatima will make you feel at home immediately and will give you excellent advice for visiting the city. Our room, a triple, was on the second floor, very spacious and clean, equipped with air conditioning, essential in the month of July. The bathroom is spacious, with shower and equipped with hairdryer. The room overlooks a small terrace overlooking the rooftops of Marrakesh. The breakfast is varied, plentiful and excellent. Wifi is available both in the common areas and in the rooms. There is the possibility of consuming snacks for a fee, and taking part in excursions. Possibility to pay with debit card.

We were 10 friends on a bachelorette party and we privatized the Riad de Franck for the occasion. What to say ? THANKS ! Thanks to Franck who helped us in organizing the activities, thanks to Fatima our guardian angel on site who did everything possible to help us and arrange things for us! Thank you to the cooks who prepared wonderful meals for us (tagine, royal couscous and breakfast). The Riad may not have a swimming pool but it is magnificent, on several floors with a terrace and rooftop above the roofs of Marrakech! Located 5 minutes from JAMAA EL FNA square. If we had to summarize, we all had an excellent stay at Riad Al Wafaa and in Marrakech and we will return. Thanks again to Fatima and Franck for everything! Ava & Camille, the witnesses.
