Dar Rocmarra

Loved our 3 night stay at this beautiful Riad. You will not find a better location to the old town, you can walk everywhere. The breakfasts were excellent, as were the staff who were super helpful and made sure we maximised our time in Marrakech. The highlight though has to be the roof terrace where you can spend some time relaxing and sunbathing.

A lovely place where the staff were very attentive. It looked amazing and was very comfortable.

We stayed at Dar Rocmarra for 3 nights with another couple and had the most amazing time, we couldn’t have asked or a better base for our stay. Jamila was an amazing host and on hand for anything we needed. Would stay again in a heartbeat and will 100% recommend to anyone planning to visit Marrakech.

An absolutely beautiful riad in a great location in the Medina. The rooms and whole riad are spotless, the rooftop is absolutely beautiful with loads of space to relax, read, sunbathe and eat meals etc. The staff Jamila, Letifer & Jalil are all beyond helpful and there for anything you need. Breakfast was great and we asked Jamila to cook for us one night too which was actually the best meal we had of the whole trip! Couldn’t recommend enough.

Fantastic from the waiting car at the airport until we were dropped off at the airport. Directed from the DarEl Bacha the 3 minute walk down the narrow derb to the Dar Rocmarra pleasantly surprised by the authentic decor of very different en-suite rooms. I liked mostly the calmness just minutes away from the heart of a busy city. Hot on the comfortable terrace cool in the rooms. Nothing a problem for the wonderful family staff. Special thanks to Jamil for making sure I made the airport car at 3.30. I will be back!!

Dar Rocmarra was the key to a first trip to Marrakech - and for the next trip too! Hidden away among the alleyways of Dar Bacha is a real jewel. Forget your same-as international chains, this is real Marrakech with superb standards - the space, the gorgeous rooms, the cool courtyard, the rooftop terrace, fantastic food and outstanding service - day or night. Located within mere minutes walk of the vibrant souks which are the heart of Marrakech and just beside all the services - bustling markets, restaurants, hammans, taxis, currency exchange and A**s, Dar Rocmarra is tranquil oasis is a traditional Moroccan building with all the mod-cons. It is spotlessly clean - and I mean really spotless - and gives a wonderful sense of safety and security. The owners, Julie and Rob happened to be there when we arrived and we got the lowdown on just about everything we needed to have a wonderful few days in Marrakech. Jemilla, Jalil and Lefitah took wonderful care of us and served up a marvellous breakfast every morning to set us up for the day - in the cool courtyard and up on the rooftop terrace, a great sun-trap fully kitted out with loungers for a quiet read or take the sun. Marrakech is a feast for the senses and a real eye-opener. We found it safe, friendly, with fantastic food and the haggling in the markets was part of the fun! Dar Rocmarra organised our transfers to and from the airport - just 20 minutes away - and at all hours efficiently and we were met at the nearby taxi drop-off and brought to the hotel. If you want a REAL Marrakech experience in tranquil comfort, right in the heart of the old city, this is the place for you! Very happy to recommend and definitely will return.
