We have just finished a week at the hotel and would definitely recommend it. Although 20 mins outside of the centre it provides an oasis of calm and relaxation. The rooms are nicely laid out and are kept very clean and the bed is very comfortable. The whole complex is modern but there are lots of traditional Morracan decoration as well. The main pool is spacious and just the right temperature and there are lots of loungers to use. There is entertainment going on through out the day and into the evening and the whole entertainment crew are friendly and encouraging. The food in the main restaurant is above standard and there is lots of choices and all the food is well cooked. The restaurant staff are lovely and very professional. The bar staff are also excellent and fun. If you want to go into Marrakech(which we did on three occasions ) there is a free shuttle bus which goes several times a day. I would come back to the hotel if I visited Morroco again.

I stayed at Amour D'Auberge over the new year - I was looking for a hostel that was relatively quiet and laid back, in a good location. Hiba, Nadia, Faisal and Jamil run the hostel together and every interaction I had with each of them was very positive! They were super friendly and helpful. I shared an 8-bed female room and had no problems with it - the beds are comfortable and warm, and you get a key-locked cupboard to store your valuables. The hostel is in a fantastic central location, just five minutes walk to the big square! Even though the hostel itself was pretty quiet there is a jazz bar next door, which did mean that sometimes it was loud late at night - but I just used ear plugs and it didnt disturb me too much. Also, while I was staying they were having some building work done which was noisy during the day, however I was out and about most of the time so it didn't cause me any problems. Overall I would recommend Amour D'Auberge and would stay here again in future :-)

One of the best place to stay in medina. Nice and stylish, clean rooms, simple breakfast. Location also good enough, because its not that far to walk by medina from taxi (another riads can be so far and it's not comfortable to find it, especially when you have a lot of clothes). One more thing - they are really equipped with everything you need in rooms - fridge, smart-TV, hairdryer, even in single rooms. Not every riad can have it, especially with this price. Friendly and very helpful staff. Especially grateful to Hassan, he helped me with my one thousand questions 😅 So, I can recommend this place. I stayed in few riads in different points of medina, and it was most comfortable place.

Absolutely beautiful Riad with the most amazing, attentive staff. From the initial booking of the Riad the staff were so helpful. Ishmail booked us a taxi from the airport and made us feel so welcome when we arrived giving us a tour of the Riad then offering us a mint tea and cookies on the terrace (with a beautiful rooftop pool with complementary towels). Ishmail then provided us with maps and showed us directions to the must see places - saadian tombs (few minutes walk) and the medina and souk are all within a short walk from the Riad. The interior design of the hotel is simply beautiful. The bedrooms are so relaxing and peaceful. We had a wonderful nights sleep and felt so welcome and looked after. We had a hammam at the riad (staff were again amazing). The breakfast (included) was delicious (fruit, yoghurt, juices, pancakes, bread, omelette, jams) and the menu served on the terrace was delicious. Thank you to Ishmail, Bashir, Mustapha, the hammam ladies and all the staff who made us so welcome at this beautiful Riad. We can't wait to come back again. ❤️ amazing ❤️

We stayed at hotel chems from the 31st of December for six consecutive days for the new year. This was my second time in Marrakech but my mum's first time. The location is second to none within a few minutes walk to the square and also many other local attractions. On arrival we were told that we needed to check in from 3:00 p.m. we'd got there early but were able to drop off our bags and then go out exploring. The hotel itself is a little outdated, however it is very clean. Staff are very good, welcoming and attentive, room sizes good and price good. Bedrooms made up everyday, towels changed, cleaned throughout. Pool towels available for free at pool. We stopped between December and January, that is a very good size pool approximately 25 m. However it is very cold but still accessible plenty of seating areas for drinks and snacks. There are plenty of sun lounges around the poolside as well as in the grass area. Breakfast is served daily which is included within the cost and there was ample choice a selection of eggs, Cereals, yogurts a little fruit, many pastries, etc. The hotel also has a snack bar and does offer evening meals. We did not take any evening meals here. We did have snacks during the day. Things like salads, pizzas, burgers, etc. The food was good. As the hotel was very close to the local area, we were able to walk although it was close to a taxi rank. If you should need this. Within 1 minute walk to Koutobia mosque, then about 5 mins to jem so fnaa square, Cyber park short walk ( nice to visit) near royal mansour Marrakech, Around 40 mins walk is the beautiful menara :) There is also complex artisan is about 10 minutes walk maximum full of things to buy As you come out of the hotel grounds, if you do a left you will find a park on the left hand side ( Koutobia). You can walk straight through this to the main road to take a shorter route to places. There is plenty of opportunities for walking and running. It is very safe to run alone. When we were there the sunrose at about 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. and the mornings were cool. During the daytime, you can expect temperatures of around 18° c in December and January plenty warm enough if you are from England. We had a walking tour that I arranged before we went through TripAdvisor. It was very good. We also booked the waterfalls trip. This was okay. I also took a hot air balloon trip which was amazing. All of these were booked online instead of at the hotel. There was no particular reason not to book at the hotel. I just didn't realise that there was somebody on site to do this before travelling. The reception is manned 24 hours, 7 days a week. On New year's Eve, we was welcomed with a show and dinner from 7:30 p.m. full entertainment and several courses for a meal and drinks. We checked in in the morning, which we were very grateful to them for allowing us to do. Everyone was so kind and helpful even after we realized there was a problem with our reservation. They worked with us and never tried to charge us for the mistake even though they certainly could have (especially when it took a few days for our travel agent to fix it). The food was delicious, every single person was friendly and helpful. We also got massages at the spa and were so happy and relaxed. They even held our luggage for free for a few days while we went on an excursion. The rooms they gave us for the second half of our stay were even nicer than the first. They were in the process of filing the pool and we really enjoyed sitting out by it even though they were laying even more pretty tile (the hotel is very beautiful as it is, even nicer than the pictures). I will say the internet passwords kept expiring which was annoying, but they always gave us a new code without any issue except the minor inconvenience. We will definitely be back.

An understated hotel. Nothing fancy about the room. We’ll remember the view though and it will thrill us forever. But, we sat on the small balcony and took in the pink colours of Marrakesh, evening and morning. Wow!

Beuatiful decorated hotel. More like a resort hotel with spa & swimming pool. The room is clean & adequate amenities provided. The brekfast served was great & the hotel staff are friendly. The hotel is situated not far from Marrakech train station.
