Ibis Budget Marseille l'Estaque

Trés bon hotel.Trés propre.Trés bien accueillis.Personnel aimable et poli. Les chambres sont propres ainsi que les sanitaires. En ce qui concerne le petit déjeuner,il y a du choix.Cela donne envie.

I often sleep in ibis hotels when we travel with friends for weekends and vacations. I have never been in such a lousy ibis. It's dirty, the bedding is dirty, the rooms are uncomfortable, the neighbors are noisy, I confirm that there are residents all year round, and I suddenly read the 5* comments written recently to counter the 99% of REALISTIC negative comments, these comments which say that it is a good hotel are simply false, no real traveler could write this type of comment, and even less several in a row!!! spend one night there and you will understand that it is impossible. To flee.

As usual, warm welcome and breathtaking view of our lady of the guard "LA BONNE MÈRE" and the cruise port with these huge boats. Too bad the rain prevented us from enjoying the terrace to taste the good pizzas that the hotel suggest if we want to go out in the evening

A warm welcome, the staff are friendly and available. The rooms are clean, very well maintained. I highly recommend this hotel with a magnificent sea view... I had a pleasant stay. I'll be back .....

I had a great stay at the Ibis Estaque! First of all, the hotel team is fantastic, I dealt with three different people and each of them was wonderfully kind and friendly. I often stay in hotels it is rare to come across a team like this. The hotel is very clean and very well maintained. The Estaque district is very pleasant with a little Marseille feel of yesteryear. I highly recommend, a big thank you to the team!

From the outside, the hotel doesn't look so bad, with a 500m view of the sea and the port of L'Estaque… The gentleman at the reception is very nice and really this review is written on everything except him, but then the hotel itself should be AVOID. Dirty rooms, my sheets were "yellow" as if washed with dirty water, the window did not close, the water in the shower flowed yellowish as if you had had work in your street, the neighbor was a resident there year, like 3/4 of the guests present: almost full rooms but no cars in the parking lot, laundry drying on the windows, noisy people who we don't want to have as roommates... .. We were asked to change rooms after 1 night when we were supposed to stay 3, very strange for "work" supposedly, why not put us in a free room for 3 nights? We were coming for work with my colleague, so we left after one night because we didn't feel safe at all and yet we are neither snobs nor timid usually. I don't recommend this hotel, it's a shame because the first gentleman we saw when we arrived at reception was really nice, but the environment of this hotel is feared close to the northern districts of Marseille so a window which doesn't close and neighbors who bang on the walls in the evening make you just want to run away.

What a disaster this hotel was, certainly my worst hotel experience in a long life. From the outside the hotel seems very decent but what an observation inside I must say dirty rooms accompanied by cockroaches sewage smells in the rooms a catastrophic breakfast brief to escape

Long, black hair around the room, hair on the bed. Cockroaches around the room. Sink next to the bed smaller than that of a caravan. Bathroom with toilet seat removed, noisy air conditioner. Poor breakfast and not fresh products. I have rarely been so disgusted.
