Hôtel du Sud Vieux Port

The location is excellent, just steps from the old port, in an area full of cafes and bars, and we could see the theater from the window. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The cleanliness was good, but the walls were marked in several places. The building needs maintenance: the door closer was broken and prevented the door from fully opening between the bathroom and the bedroom; the walls and fixtures could use a repaint; the windows could use a clean; the bathroom could use some touch-ups and a new sink stopper; the toilet was difficult to flush. It was okay for a few nights, without high expectations. Complimentary toiletries and two towels per person plus a shower mat are provided, but there is no hair dryer.

On a business trip, the room was small but reasonably clean. However, the room was a bit cold.

The location is great. But everything else was disappointing. In January, they gave me a sheet instead of a warm blanket. The rooms were cold.
